thanks. - paulot, on 07/23/2008, -0/+5The Garbage Pail Kids were the first to do this.
- h0ser, on 07/23/2008, -0/+3i thought the mosaics were creative, but most of the sculptures just looked like garbage arranged in a neat pattern. I'd pay to have most of them thrown in the dump if they were on my yard.
- Cancerkitty, on 07/23/2008, -0/+2Completely agree. The mosaic of the bridge was pretty impressive.
- bluepill2, on 07/23/2008, -0/+2Man, Wall-E would be ashamed thinking of all the boring square towers he spent years building, as opposed to, I dunno, a giant statue of The Fonz or something.
- Dieris, on 07/23/2008, -0/+1Yeah, nothing that jumps out at me. Its all sub-par art but using trash...suddenly makes it more....artistic?
- MastDane, on 07/23/2008, -0/+2The eye is so cool.
- Hax0rJimDuggan, on 07/23/2008, -0/+1This gives new meaning to "artsy fartsy".
- u8muhrice, on 07/23/2008, -0/+0see, who ever said that art was trash? :D
- DaHuuuuuudge, on 07/23/2008, -0/+1Are you saying this isn't trash because it's trash?
- u8muhrice, on 07/23/2008, -0/+0No, I have always been a fan on art, however, I was just merely poking fun at people who said art is trash, when in fact, that this is really trash
- DaHuuuuuudge, on 07/23/2008, -0/+1Are you saying this isn't trash because it's trash?
- t4ll3y, on 07/23/2008, -0/+1What about The Spindle in Aurora, IL?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_spindle - sporg, on 07/23/2008, -0/+1A few of them are interesting most are still trash especially the houses covered in trash and the old vacuum cleaners and debris scattered around. The annoying talking ad was a real nice touch.
- tucsonalama, on 07/23/2008, -0/+0Is it just me or did you also only see 1 AMAZING work of art there...
- WhiZa, on 07/23/2008, -0/+2Let me show you Derelicte. It is a fashion, a way of life inspired by the very homeless, the vagrants, the crack whores that make this wonderful city so unique.
- MetalGear7, on 07/24/2008, -0/+1I'm no art critic...but it still looks like Garbage to me :)
- jeymon, on 07/24/2008, -0/+0I don't know about amazing... I would say just extremely resourceful.
- thegrantman, on 07/24/2008, -0/+0Enough of this trash-talking.
- gkiltz, on 07/24/2008, -0/+0Only re-enforces the notion that most art stinks!
