- mager, on 10/11/2007, -0/+17Joe Hewitt will probably re-write Microsoft Windows to run in a browser. And I bet it wouldn't crash in IE either.
- jpaddington, on 10/11/2007, -2/+4Amazing app built with this
http://seeqpod.com/iphone (must be viewed with an iPhone!) - Skeuomorph, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1First, ask IE to upgrade to web standards CSS2. Then, when it stops pointing and giggling at you, ask it to add namespace extensions for provisional CSS3. Then duck.
- Atomic1fire, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1you know they said they don't want the wiki being dugg
- Atomic1fire, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1it looks like apple not opening the iphone and letting developers make web based Applications was a smart move on their part
they got Developers doing the UI work for them - GetTheGirl, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0wow, did not know, thanks
- undetected, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1This is amazing. Its early version has already become the defacto standard among those developing webapps for the iPhone.
- spinxter, on 10/11/2007, -2/+2That is actually in interesting app...
- GetTheGirl, on 10/11/2007, -1/+0here's a Wired writeup on the app using it

- GetTheGirl, on 10/11/2007, -2/+0add some core development to this and we've got a device unlike any other,,, http://iphone.fiveforty.net/wiki/index.php/Main_Page
- cmearns, on 10/11/2007, -3/+1Great tool. Unfortunately it doesn't work in Internet Explorer. I realize that this doesn't really matter because the iPhone is running Safari, but I am actually trying to use this library as a solution for a massive menu that I have for a regular not-for-iPhone application, and IE compatibility is a must.
A cross-browser solution would still be useful. - insomniac8400, on 10/11/2007, -7/+5Just too funny. Apple forcing everyone to use the web browser for 3rd party apps, means anything made for the iphone will work on any device or phone with a web browser. Could the iPhone be any less useless?
- halik, on 10/11/2007, -8/+5Heh I'll wait till Apple releases a real SDK as opposed to this copout... I don't like having to log into every one of my "programs".
