- daldredge, on 10/12/2007, -10/+1Save your money and invest it in basic English language books. Improving your mastery of the English language would be a much more productive use of your money.
- SPECOPS, on 10/15/2007, -1/+2You should invest in some grammar books. If you're going to be a language Nazi, be sure to have your own ***** straight before trying to belittle someone else.

do I have to go to every story and say this?- BETRAMS, on 10/12/2007, -3/+9Well instead of saying iPod Touch we can shorten it and say, iTouch.
Much like instead of saying refrigerator, we say fridge.
Un-knot your panties.- djh816, on 10/12/2007, -3/+11It isn't panties!!! It's underpants!
- FlynnRocks, on 10/12/2007, -5/+1ya bitch

- mingistech, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1iTouch is the popular tech slang for it fool.
If you can't hang with the lingo maybe sites like digg are outta ur league. - tepidpond, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1No, FlynnRocks, you don't have to. But you can continue...thanks to that wonderful block button, it won't annoy me any more.

- BETRAMS, on 10/12/2007, -3/+9Well instead of saying iPod Touch we can shorten it and say, iTouch.
- Ellipsys, on 10/12/2007, -8/+5Does this mean that now other media software can be adapted to support iPod Touch an iPhone? Will I REALLY be able to get rid of iTunes?!
- jmask5, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1That would be great I really want to use Mediamonkey on the iphone I can't stand Itunes.
- DOGPARTY, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1it would be great if my oven could be turned on by rubbing my face on a cheesegrater... I can't stand turning the dial

- tubeblender, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0I don't really care, but since you took the time to post, so will I. Dugg you down bitch.
- thecontinental, on 10/12/2007, -2/+38Sweet...access to SECPACKS!!!
Ok, what are secpacks.- ferrell, on 10/12/2007, -9/+2Am I the only one who read that as BUTTSECKS???
- rainbowjinjo, on 10/12/2007, -3/+13Yes.
- alex7575, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2How do you go from SECPACKS to BUTTSECKS?
What are BUTTSECKS anyway???
- OneManArmy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8You can think of a secpack as the password that allows you to write to the baseband (i,e modem firmware).
- S1ngular1ty1, on 10/12/2007, -6/+1Oh, then it is just what I though it was.......Lame.
- ferrell, on 10/12/2007, -9/+2Am I the only one who read that as BUTTSECKS???
- LinuxGalore, on 10/12/2007, -10/+2Or you can just tell Apple to go fsk themselves like a good consumer should and buy an unlocked phone from the competition.
- sasshole, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3fsk? don't you mean fsck?
also it's a lot more satisfying to unlock it and benefit from the product than to force yourself to eat the interface garbage on the razr, treo, etc. - DOGPARTY, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1yeah but they're all crap
- sasshole, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3fsk? don't you mean fsck?
- Shaman760, on 10/12/2007, -4/+6All your iPhone are belong to us.
- kyleh, on 10/12/2007, -7/+2yay secpacks!!!!
......wtf is a secpack???- lcarsdeveloper, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Had major deja vu when I read that comment, almost feels like I read it previously in this thread...
- S1ngular1ty1, on 10/12/2007, -9/+3All ur SECPACKS are belong to us!!!!!
- dan21328, on 10/12/2007, -7/+6honestly, do we really need play-by-play updates on this? wake me when there's an easy installer available that doesn't have the big danger of screwing up your phone.
- alex7575, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3But you not only looked inside, you had to post too.
Don't take it away from me, I like to watch the whole game, instead of getting the final score from the papers in the morning.
- alex7575, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3But you not only looked inside, you had to post too.
- grapesofbaath, on 10/12/2007, -3/+13Was the iPhone 1.1.1 upgrade a forced upgrade? Because otherwise I don't understand why all these people with hacked iPhones would upgrade their firmware, it's like touching a stove and being surprised at the burn.
- dillona, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9Nope.
- bloaty, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3Some of the iPhone Dev team has to take the plunge so they have something to hack. ; )
- bloaty, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3Some of the iPhone Dev team has to take the plunge so they have something to hack. ; )
- nroth, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Not forced, but people want the new features even though they aren't that great. Plus any new iPhone comes with the new firmware, so that's the main reason of going through this. Some people bricked their iphones for the community sake of learning about it, while others were just retarded.
- lefooey, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Not forced, but some of the features are nice (like the volume settings improvements) and the security update for MobileSafari was pretty much a no-brainer. Hopefully someday Apple will get the hint and allow some reasonable distribution of third-party apps.
- dillona, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9Nope.
- smurf22, on 10/12/2007, -1/+11The winning lottery number is 358bf0bd1f1024ed25fa69ced23dab90.
- HappyScrappy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Actually, that's just the md5 hash of the unencrypted content. It's not the key.
- bradn, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2had to have that itunes wifi store man...
- sasshole, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0the camera is vastly improved along w/ IMAP mail support. also the doubletap home functionality is great
- obxjdt, on 10/12/2007, -8/+3Is there any chance in hell that just 2 hours might go by without any iPhone story being on the digg front page?!?!?!
- alex7575, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I don't understand why people whine about certain types of articles showing up with more often than others. If it bothers you that much, use the customize link and uncheck "Apple"
- mentor972, on 10/12/2007, -7/+1What's an iTouch?
- probrian, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1LOL
- FlynnRocks, on 10/12/2007, -5/+2I know!!!!
I hate this bitch!!!
IT IS CALLED IPOD TOUCH!!!!!- heinousjay, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Damn dude, relax. You lost, it's over.
- tdous, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1See, people actually nickname their Apple products now. I'm surprised the work of the ***** team hasn't garnered more attention yet.
- DookieHole, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2iPhone Firmware 1.1.2 has been spotted in the UK, which means that newer firmware is right around the corner. So the cat and mouse game continues. Props to the Dev team and elite teams.
- cfazzini, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6That should mean then that 1.1.2 probably has the same flaw (the tiff exploit), but who knows about 1.1.3.
- thesportoflife, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1so this means a one click unlock GUI interface right for the touch/iphone?
because i dont wanna take 70 steps or so and view some ***** up .tif file just to unlock my ipod with X number of problems along the way.- alex7575, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1based on your comment you should stay away from hacking your iPhone.
- shawnz, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2it takes 70 steps to visit a web page with an image on it on an iphone? wow, that *is* a bad phone.

- RyeBrye, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4"SECPAC as a multi modal international freight logistics provider has evolved to provide a service of excellence to meet customers' transportation needs by ..."
I take it that's not what it means? - SoxFanNH, on 10/12/2007, -4/+3Who cares, this shouldn't be necessary anyway. Glad I didn't waste the money to deal with this...
- insomniac8400, on 10/12/2007, -4/+4Big whoop. Why do they think it is awesome to make your 400 dollar phone unable to be updated.
- beggersfunk, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1Nice...
- mwang1999, on 10/12/2007, -6/+1Too bad iPhoneSimFree beat you losers to it...
- ElBob, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1iPSF removes the sim lock. This allows write access to the phone's memory. Both hacks, but they are COMPLETELY different hacks.

- jnaina, on 10/12/2007, -4/+0the only sacpack I know is between my legs.
- S1ngular1ty1, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1I can haz secpacks now?
- Philbert, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Link is dead but when I saw "IPhone Dev Team" I assumed it was talking about the official Apple developers and wondered "They decrypted their own files?"
- mcnearcj, on 10/16/2007, -6/+15I'm pretty drunk and buried everyone's comment
- ZepFloyd, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11well, at least you spelled everything correctly and used punctuation.
- tdous, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1He had no stop at the end, and you didn't capitalise "well". Is this stuff really so complicated?
- mingistech, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1It's called a period, not a stop.
What planet are you from?
- mingistech, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1It's called a period, not a stop.
