- ben51959, on 10/12/2007, -1/+18Finally, an iPhone I can afford!
- horanghee, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6I don't know about you guys, but mine is getting ***** for reception.
- cloudcity, on 10/12/2007, -6/+10Folks, I rushed this a bit, its Photoshopped together, and you'll note that the bottom and top are just "made" out of the sides. Again this is NOT what the top and bottom look like. I'm not claiming that, just wanted a real quick idea of the size of the phone.
Please chime in on the questions! - DanAtkinson, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4I'm glad you mentioned that!
To be honest, I would be worried if there was bits of paper and cardboard sticking out of my brand new iPhone when it finally arrived. :D - higherness, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4And one that won't scratch the minute you touch it!
- TheYoshi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Honestly now I'm even more worried about being able to actually type on the thing, that's my biggest concern at this point (that and trying to get over the lack of 3G in the first generation which I still absolutely must have)
- cloudcity, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4I used 72 DPI images, and measured after printing, I would not recommend printing from your broswer, rather drag the image into Preview or whatever the windows equivalent is. But yeah, it is probably off by a few mm, but I did measure my final copy, and it came out very very close.
- Vampire, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2seems way to small...
- cloudcity, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3That's exactly why I made this mockup, I thought it would be huge. It's not; it fits in the hand perfectly. I printed this and wrapped it around a block of wood I sized. I then measured it and I was within 1 mm.
I've been carrying it around this evening (nerd alert!) and i love the size. My only size concern now is that i may be TOO thin to grasp firmly over time... - ElumEnopee, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I cringe thinking about all the dirty things that will be done to this piece of paper once the fanboys get a hold of it.
No more tissues needed! - Matrixsjd, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1antwan911,
The bottom is a dock connector, the top is a headphone jack just like on the 5th gen on the left side, and on the top right side is a Sleep/Wake Button. Simple as that. - HanSolo69, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1don't try and hide the water damage on this phone, your argument will just fall apart.
/rimshot - antwan911, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1iv been thinking about your first question ever since i saw the pics on the internet
anyone got any info?
(i doubt it but cant hurt to ask) - Maturola, on 10/12/2007, -4/+2lol, Did a great job!
- beelz, on 10/12/2007, -6/+3thanks
- kamikazi49, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0it is is easy to do that off adobe photoshop
- FazliS85, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1Awesome product!! I wish they incorporated a GPS antenna...that would make it the ultimate gadget...but im still getting it.
- KJSatz, on 10/12/2007, -5/+1I'm not totally convinced it's to scale; even if it is on your computer, the DPI settings for everyone else might be different. No I have no measured it or anything. I would suggest a PDF document (just past it into OpenOffice, make sure everything is the right size, and save as a PDF). You might also want to make it so the top and bottom are really extensions of the sides so they can curve around and make the rounded corners.
