Telstra has far better coverage than optus & vodafone, i think you will find the iPhone on Telstra will outsell optus and voda purely for the fact that regional customers can experience the device and have reception to make calls!

If Telstra is the only company that carries the iPhone in Australia, I'd rather give up the iPhone. I hate Telstra.
