- victorycig, on 12/05/2007, -0/+15TUAW is a respectable blog; it isn't spam.
- Trevahaha, on 12/05/2007, -1/+10Umm.. no it doesn't. I just sync'd with it unplugged... why the hell would it require being plugged in to sync!?
- mattluiz, on 08/28/2009, -4/+11How about a Windows version?
- jamend, on 12/05/2007, -0/+6Winamp + wifi + iPhone:

(referenced from your link...) - Jereso, on 12/05/2007, -3/+8Yes, in fact, 97% of the computer using people do. I'm sorry you can't climb out of your little hole of ignorance and disbelief to find that out.
- ngupta77, on 12/05/2007, -13/+17Why worry? You can do wireless sync with Zune already. At least one place where Zune beats iPod.
- mtbterain, on 12/05/2007, -5/+9i'm pretty sure zune 1 and 2 can do this with the new firmware.....
i know that you can share with the zune 1 , but the zune 2 is def wifi - inactive, on 12/06/2007, -0/+3I don't see why people keep saying that Apple TV is a failure. No one at Apple claimed it was going to set the world on fire, but last time I read actual numbers, which was after the fiscal third quarter, Apple TV had sold about 250,000 units in one quarter. That doesn't sound like a flop to me. In fact, that's about the rate that the iPods were selling when they were first released in 2001.
Of course, Apple is often a victim of their own hype. If they don't sell a gazillion copies of their devices, these every blogger is quick to call failure because it is sure to get them page clicks if nothing else. - mastaphoo, on 12/05/2007, -3/+6what do the apple fan boys do in all the positive windows submissions? they rave about how apple shat is better.... hm...... hypocrite much?
- dserfaty, on 12/05/2007, -0/+3Direct source link is actually:
http://www.everythingicafe.com/forum/third-party-a ... - Zippo, on 12/06/2007, -0/+2Perhaps you missed the fact that the iPhone and iPod touch do indeed have a wireless iTunes store.
- silverwolfe, on 12/05/2007, -1/+2If it's plugged in, it'll automatically sync. But you can manually toggle it on too.
- JimV, on 12/06/2007, -0/+1Uh, I can sit on my couch and sync my zune with the computer in the other room. Wifi sync works good.
- zekt, on 12/05/2007, -4/+5Samsung Blackjack to Windows over 802.11 working fine for me.
- JimV, on 12/06/2007, -1/+2Wifi sync with Windows? Yeah, its called a Zune.
- mateo60, on 12/05/2007, -0/+1i'd love for my iPod Touch to be docked and connected to my tv when its home, and then be able to sync it wirelessly so I could stream video to it. Right now, I connect it to my computer to put video on it, then plug it in via composite to my tv to watch shows that I um... "legally purchased".
- Philbert, on 12/06/2007, -0/+1I would think the hard part would be getting it to sync with something that's not iTunes. Or getting it to sync on a 64 bit OS.
- s0ny, on 12/07/2007, -0/+1as long as you have you Zune plugged into a power source. Yeah, works real good. Of course plugging it into a power source is just as hard as...ooh say plugging it into your damn computer!
- xdmitrix, on 12/05/2007, -1/+2guys when has plugging your iphone into a dock for 30 seconds been hard?
- robdiggity, on 12/06/2007, -0/+1Love tuaw. Anybody know if mplayer/ffmpeg/libavcodec is being ported?
- geekee, on 12/05/2007, -7/+7The iTunes model is broken. That's why AppleTV is a failure. Your iPhone should run iTunes on it and not even need your PC, just a wireless connection of some sort.
- and303, on 12/06/2007, -1/+1When has holding two clunky wooden devices wired to a wall while having a phone conversation been hard?
That's technology for you. Stupid incremental achievements in convenience. - rskbreaker, on 12/06/2007, -1/+1Why not just run Telekenisis(iPhone Remote)
http://code.google.com/p/telekinesis/ - and303, on 12/05/2007, -7/+7Wait why is this so cool?
I sync my Cingular 8125 via wifi (or bluetooth, if I desire) daily. Maybe one day Apple will "innovate technology" and allow iPhone users to do the same. - patniemeyer, on 12/06/2007, -0/+0Forget full blown WiFi syncing - all I really want is WiFi synchronization of your play position and played status for podcasts... so I can listen on my computer for a while and then leave the house and pick up where I left off on my iPhone.

- therealcheney, on 12/06/2007, -1/+0Nothing new.
Been sshing into my phone for months. - Nerfdude, on 12/05/2007, -6/+3while this is about the iphone... i can't not digg any comment casting a microsoft product in positive light.

- Me1000, on 12/05/2007, -9/+2too bad the Zune must be plugged in to a power source, and I am on a Mac (so guess what OS the Zune works on...)
- ztirffritz, on 12/05/2007, -11/+1Does anyone still use Windows? It really isn't worth the effort.
