'iPhone Extreme' reference spotted in Apple.com HTML code

appleinsider.com — This one's a stretch, but a one-off mention of a product dubbed "iPhone Extreme" in the HTML code of one of Apple Inc.'s iPhone web pages has raised some eyebrows

      I duno how you can say iPhones are expensive when its the EXACT same pricing model you should have forcibly ingrained in your memory at this point.

    2. It is fairly obvious that somebody simply copied the form page that they were using for the Airport Extreme and did a global search/replace for Airport with iPhone at some point. Thus resulting in the weird "product" variable.

  • ForbesBingley, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1What we do know is, Apple are very deliberate and quite meticulous in their wording of things, if not their launch schedule. And yes, Extreme has been used before by Apple, notably for their wireless products.

    Might we be seeing an iPhone that works off the landline or VoIP when in the home?

    Goes to show that the Digg algorithm REALLY favors apple *****. I mean, this one was USELESS and still made the front page.
  • trylleklovn, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2Update: The "iPhone Extreme" reference was simply a sloppy copy-and-paste job on the part of an Apple webmaster who apparently used the company's existing AirPort Extreme feedback form in creating one for the iPhone.
