- NathanCH, on 07/14/2008, -2/+88In before 50 quotes from the video I just saw.
- MavRevMatt, on 07/14/2008, -14/+96Almost as funny as "homerowed"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u2WGzE_7C_A - Stwo, on 07/14/2008, -9/+77Very good! Reminded me a little bit of the SNL digital shorts, which is a good thing!
- xParker, on 09/12/2008, -4/+53I happen to have a case of the brick dick
- embraceware, on 07/15/2008, -2/+46The timing on the business cards "*****" is spot on. I think it's the expression when he looks up.
- Wootstapler, on 07/14/2008, -3/+37Dear Sister, by the time you read th...
BRICKED! - ocellnuri, on 07/14/2008, -3/+34I don't get why you're being Dugg down for being right. The iPhone community has completely hijacked the term "brick" when it comes to hacking electronics. The word should strike fear into anyone who hears it, but instead these people are slapping the term on anything that's unactivated.
- mikedub1219, on 07/14/2008, -4/+22BRICK DICK!
- MavRevMatt, on 07/14/2008, -1/+18...
The whole point is that they aren't. - lasr467, on 07/14/2008, -1/+17If your iPhone turned into a brick, it would be completely unrecoverable.
But you're right, in Webster's dictionary under "bricked" I do believe it specifically says "completely unrecoverable without some sort of hardware replacement." - maldovix, on 07/14/2008, -1/+16I was hoping that right after that the beer would brick
- craterburnsu, on 07/14/2008, -6/+18That was great.
- deevay, on 07/15/2008, -9/+20Ha i remember that part..................oh yeh i just saw it 2 seconds ago
Stop ***** quoting videos people!! - ocellnuri, on 07/14/2008, -0/+9From the article:
"On Friday, as droves of loyal Apple fans tried to activate their shiny new iPhone 3Gs or upgrade their old iPhones to the new iPhone 2.0 firmware, the iTunes servers at Apple buckled under the crush of downloads. The tragic result was that giddy Apple fan boys and girls the world over had their new toys reduced to useless ‘bricks’ until home downloads could be completed or, for those trying to get the phones activated in Apple stores, after waiting in 2 to 3 hour lines at the Genius Bar."
They're talking about activations, not true bricking. And if the term "bricked" keeps getting used like this, no one's going to understand what you're talking about when you have a legitimate brick, like you had.
We might as well start calling colds "cancer". - redheadguy719, on 07/15/2008, -5/+14the bike one was impressive...but the video was stupid
- adroit, on 07/14/2008, -3/+12I had to jump over a fence that had No Trespassing written all over it to get that brick.
- adroit, on 07/14/2008, -1/+10http://youtube.com/watch?v=jB1c0eBCkvk
done! - howdareyou, on 07/14/2008, -3/+12Dugg for Roger Chang in the Go Daddy commercial.
- mannymix03, on 07/14/2008, -1/+10I dugg you up just for the old AOTS :D
- sononame, on 07/14/2008, -9/+17Martin Sargent has still got the magic!
- Dino451, on 07/15/2008, -0/+8I am surprised that there wasn't a GoDaddy Commercial at the start, middle or end.
- egbert, on 07/14/2008, -28/+36The iPhone is not bricked. For something to be bricked it would have to be completely unrecoverable without some sort of hardware replacement.
- inactive, on 07/14/2008, -3/+11kevin? LOLOLOLOL
- somestranger26, on 07/15/2008, -0/+8"Homerowed" is referring to the home row on your keyboard (asdf, jkl;) where people typically place their fingers to type.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Home_row - pukiman, on 07/15/2008, -2/+10Buried each and every one of you.
- scotishstriker, on 07/14/2008, -1/+9G4 would absorb them and fire the guys all over again, so they wont have competition
- umbrellainabin, on 07/15/2008, -1/+8im so ***** glad that wasn't a rick roll
- deathsquadx, on 07/15/2008, -1/+8Martin always smells like whiskey.
- BTallack, on 07/15/2008, -0/+7I was hoping the skateboard at the end of every Revision 3 video would turn into a brick.
- Jibberwalk, on 07/15/2008, -2/+9? No. Alcohol has a tendency to make it difficult to achieve full mast, hence... a brick-dick.
- ChinezePanda, on 07/15/2008, -1/+8Revision 3 owns all other networks. Internet and Television alike.
- PinkChicken, on 07/15/2008, -0/+6Wait, Martin's not really in his mom's shed?
- mikev, on 07/14/2008, -1/+7no
- ocellnuri, on 07/14/2008, -8/+14Why's egbert being dugg down for being right? Unactivated != bricked.
- sparrowkc, on 07/15/2008, -3/+8YOU HAVE A REGISTERED ACCOUNT ON DIGG.
- life036, on 07/15/2008, -1/+6That video was NOT clever.
- xalax, on 07/15/2008, -1/+5I thought it was funny... but I have absolutely no clue what that means
- Risingashes, on 07/15/2008, -0/+4I had a bad case of head cancer over the weekend. Finally over it though.
I like this new system. - Matsky, on 07/15/2008, -0/+4In Australia shops selling the iPhone are officially referring to it as being in a "bricked state" until you activate it. Nubs.
- wrathoftheafe, on 07/15/2008, -2/+6just because rev3 puts something out doesnt automatically make it the funniest ***** in the world.
- life036, on 07/15/2008, -4/+8That sucked. These people actually make money off of this *****?
- ricodued, on 07/15/2008, -2/+6To be even more accurate, it was kind of a rip off of the People Getting Punched Just Before Eating skit from SNL.
Same style, same setup. Still entertaining though - papastout, on 07/14/2008, -0/+3that's okay, the rest of us do...
dugg down for pontificating on college*humor website (where humor has been bricked) - gimpbully, on 07/14/2008, -1/+4I do have to say, mau's was legitimately bricked. apple gave a replacement and all! fear the 2.0!
- Justin6512, on 07/16/2008, -0/+3I know, THEY'RE BRILLIANT!
- gimpbully, on 07/18/2008, -0/+3...yes it does
- Bennito, on 07/15/2008, -0/+3the video covers up the shows menu! That's annoying.
- r2builder, on 07/15/2008, -0/+3There was one at the end for me.
