- mikev, on 10/12/2007, -1/+15I had no idea this would be cross browser - otherwise I wouldn't have submitted it in Apple :P
- appletalk, on 10/12/2007, -1/+13Better yet, diggmarks+rss ! (supported by firefox, dunno about Safari)

Download: http://files-upload.com/files/41861/digg.zip.html - Vinthian, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9works in firefox too! nice job. for firefox, go to bookmarks > organize bookmarks > file > import... > choose file > and just move the folder to the bookmarks toolbar folder.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+8oh, you better change your name quick, before you get your ass sued diggamer.
If you anit got nothing decent to say dont say anything - cinnix, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4!!! Bug Report.
Digg tolls > Digg Storm
Should be "Swarm". Other than that it's very good. If now you could implement RSS headlines I'd be very happy. - appletalk, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Really? Explain to us how you got them categorized then, because as far as I know, you only get a list of links with the 'All news' rss feed.
- central183, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Great submission. I had started this process on my own browser for "Commented On", "Popular" and "Dugg." This has gotten me about 8 weeks ahead.
Dugg! - mikev, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Will be fixed tonight - thanks for the heads up. :)
- Mihai12345, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Unzip the file; in Firefox go to menu Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks >File menu > Import...> From File > Next >find the html file in the diggmarks folder from the unzipped file > Open
Congradulations ! It's done ! - enharmonix, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Very cool, but what I'm really waiting for diggal.icio.us -- well, digg with tags. Slashdot is going that route, but their bookmarking and journaling suck. Google bookmarks can be tagged and syndicated, and I can read blogs linking to the site, but I don't think users can share their bookmarks yet, so if a zillion people are linking to it (like what digg and del.icio.us do w/ popular finds), I don't know about it through Google (yet). I've thought about Netscape and del.icio.us, but won't use those for other reasons. Anyway, Kevin, if you're reading this - tags... please!
- mikev, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Me too, but I like to keep my RSS reader free from unnecessary feeds...this way I don't have to hear the newsfire sound everytime a story is submitted in a topic. :o
- ADyer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Very handy.. Thanks and Happy New Year
- klinellyred, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Umm...how do I install to use in firefox?
- Donza, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Nice idea. I still prefer my RSS reader + 'all news' feed.
- Arkitan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1@Craga89
So you're saying that you like organized news folders because they are popular?
*Just kidding*
Felt like being a smart ass. - Glenn, on 10/12/2007, -6/+7Just installed it, this is awesome. I thought of doing it myself a while back but didn't find any time.
- Ireland, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1"you can add your own links, ireland"
I know I did, I just gave a suggestion to improve a great idea, thanks. - Mihai12345, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Yes, very simple; unzip the file; in Firefox go to menu Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks >File menu > Import...> From File > Next >find the html file in the diggmarks folder from the unzipped file > Open
Congradulations ! It's done ! - MenageAMoi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Great piece of work! Thanks!
- natdrat00, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Nice
- Craga89, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I'd agree with you, but organized news folders are the ***** these days.
- iamaom, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0The Smart Digg Button is a great companion to this.
http://neothoughts.com/2007/04/27/firefox-extension-smart-digg-button/ - appletalk, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Another one joining Kylem87's ignorance.
If you add the 'All news' feed (http://digg.com/rss/index.xml), you don't get categorization on your toolbar, just a list of links mixed from all the categories.
Digg does provice an OPML file, but that requires you to install an extension (http://efinke.com/opml-support/ or http://sage.mozdev.org/), and you still don't get the Popular stories / upcoming stories links, which are the main goal of diggmarks. Safari doesn't support OPML either. - oskite, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2Ireland, unless you have it set otherwise in your profile, the 'Popular' link does just that.

http://digg.com/about-rss - Kylem87, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1This is a great little addon to your bookmarks bar but I've been using a more simplified version for quite a long time now: It's called an RSS feed.
- alen3K, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1@Nokinja ..................um no they don't . lmao another fanboi. you guys are cute sometimes.
- Jjcd7, on 10/12/2007, -8/+4Nice going.
- Ireland, on 10/12/2007, -8/+4Not to be a pain in the butt and all mike, but it would be great if there was and "all" link too.
Great that you took the time though, cheers! - idigital, on 10/12/2007, -12/+0@ appletalk
Oh sorry, I see you discovered that there are categorised RSS feeds. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -15/+1i got diggmarks on my back from "ALL" your "mothers" does that count hahahhaha
and a nasty SALAD TOSS to boot hahahahaha - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -23/+2A simple and great idea. Too bad digg's lawyers will come after you for using "digg" in the name.
Better change the name quick, before Kevin Rose Ceases and Desists your ass.
