- RaDiKaL, on 10/10/2007, -1/+25Follow these steps to install anySIM.
1. Download and install iTunes 7.3.0.5 - http://www.pqdvd.com/download/iTunesSetup3.0.5.exe
2. Download and extract iBrickr 0.8 to your desktop - http://cre.ations.net/creation/ibrickr
3. Connect your iPhone
4. Launch iBrickr.exe from the directory you installed it to
5. Follow all instructions in iBricker to Jailbreak your phone
6. Relaunch iBrickr
7. Click "Applications"
8. Follow instructions to install PXL
9. Click "Browse"
10. Click "anySIM"
11. Now, it's installed on your phone.
Follow these steps to unlock your phone after you've installed the application.
1. Disconnect your phone from the computer.
2. Follow these instructions to install a different sim card - http://www.maclife.com/article/how_to_remove_the_iphone_sim_card
3. Ensuring the new card is installed properly, launch anySIM from your iPhone springboard (the icons on the home page)
4. Agree to the agreement (press OK)
5. Wait for a while (~15 mins)
6. You're done!

2. Launch MobileSafari and go here http://conceitedsoftware.com/iphone/beta/
3. Click "Yes", then go back to Installer and refresh sources.

- habby11, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0The 3 G version is rumoured to cost a lot more out of England then the U.S. handsets. Plus as far as I know we don't have any 3G in Canada do we? Kind of a waste to pay for a feature you won't be using in the near future. Either way with 3G and what Rogers and Fido charge for data it would just get you in trouble. You would need a line of credit to keep up with the data portion of your cell phone bill ;-)
