- theaverageidiot, on 07/22/2008, -1/+29Yes! Finally, I can create "Top 10 [Movies/Objects] from [Era]" lists on the go!
- nickspohn, on 07/22/2008, -4/+26here comes more ***** blogs that no one reads.
- fastly, on 07/22/2008, -1/+23Maybe it's time I upgraded to 2.0...
- Paranoidmarvin, on 07/22/2008, -2/+16This is the app I've been waiting for, finally, I can blog without my laptop.
Next on my list, an MSN client - piwy, on 07/22/2008, -2/+13Why would you need an article if it goes directly to the thing you need?
***** kids don't know what they want these days. Get off my lawn!! - Subriot, on 07/22/2008, -0/+9Now when will Digg make an app for this site? I love the webapp, but it's pretty buggy and missing alot of features that the full version of Digg has.
Plus, you could implement features such as creating comments and digging/burying other comments. - CarzorStelatis, on 07/22/2008, -2/+9Why not submit the link to the information article since this is, you know, a news site.
- Haecceity, on 07/22/2008, -0/+6That's just ignorance -- the problem is with the hosting, not with the blogging software.
- buddyw, on 07/22/2008, -0/+5Then, when it is dugg, your site will go down because of a CPU/Database quota.
- tnoy, on 07/22/2008, -0/+4Opera Mini sucks. Opera Mobile 9.5 is far superior.
- JoeDiggsIt, on 07/23/2008, -0/+4The sad thing is I dugg you and I have one of those ***** blogs.... several of them actually.
- Paranoidmarvin, on 07/22/2008, -1/+5It's true that you can just log in, but an app takes a lot of the hastle out of it. I found the web interface didn't work very well on my iPod.
- MrTito, on 07/22/2008, -1/+5It's been a while since I've used Wordpress, but can't you write blog entries from the admin side of Wordpress using a web browser? Not understanding why you need an app for this. At least it's free.
- Sephr, on 07/22/2008, -1/+5You just click on the post and edit it. I can tell you didn't try the app.
- cklein121, on 07/23/2008, -0/+2Wordpress on iPhone: letting bloggers post remotely, get dugg, and go down in flames since 2008
- Palaceguard, on 07/22/2008, -0/+2filtering will end it
- ouzome, on 07/23/2008, -0/+2This is cool as I have a bunch of wordpress blogs, but like others said, the keyboard on the iphone pretty much sucks and I would only be able to type one sentence before tossing the iphone out the window in frustration.
- AppleNerd96, on 07/22/2008, -0/+2I really want an iPhone 3G.
- ouzome, on 07/23/2008, -0/+2ok punkcat, that was a pretty good one. I am getting better with the keyboard, but I could FLY on my treo. It's like being handicapped or something in comparison.
- linuxinsidev2, on 07/23/2008, -0/+2What sort of blogging app crashes when you're "doing something wrong"?
For instance, it crashes when trying to set it up on my friends blog, with both his and my iphones. - kertong, on 07/22/2008, -0/+2I wish it wouldn't resize every photo I upload to 640x480. Other than that - sweet!
- theaverageidiot, on 07/23/2008, -0/+2Wait, you only THINK that typing on a computer is faster?
- Haecceity, on 07/22/2008, -2/+4Seems like a pointless app to me. I can already log in to the admin area of my blog using an iPhone, and have access to all the admin functions. This app crashes and only gives access to a limited number of admin functions (you can't even *edit* a post for cryin out loud!)
- mickmel, on 07/23/2008, -0/+2I agree that a lack of cut and paste in the iPhone makes this app much less useful.
- ericdano, on 07/23/2008, -0/+2Seriously. They did that web app, but it is lame. It doesn't let you bury anything, and just shows 5 comments. WTF.........
- shinelikeitdoes, on 07/22/2008, -1/+3or you dont know what youre doing. worked fine here.
- Skitals, on 07/23/2008, -0/+1wp-cache ftw
- SmeeegHeeed, on 07/23/2008, -0/+1buried....
ffs another post about a single iPhone app.... - punkcat, on 07/23/2008, -0/+1its tradeoffs, personally i think the pros outweigh the cons vs other phones out there.
all joking aside, i dont think a touchscreen will ever give you the confidence of a physical keyboard which you need for faster typing. - badwithcomputer, on 07/22/2008, -0/+1when you put it like that, it actually make a lot of sense. wish i could un-bury.
- gthyb, on 07/22/2008, -0/+1Yeah, where are all of mr. babyman's stories?
- jedisushi, on 07/22/2008, -2/+3I am thrilled this has finally been released. It's much smoother and more intuitive than navigating to the admin section of a blog with mobile Safari.
The best is yet to come with iPhone 2.0, methinks. - ericdano, on 07/23/2008, -0/+1You should upgrade. It's easy.......really no excuse dood.
- nickspohn, on 07/22/2008, -1/+2fail
- linuxinsidev2, on 07/23/2008, -0/+1Could be the massive overheads involved when you have ***** resource hogging plugins in your wordpress site combined with tonnes of hits. though most hosting companies would just suspend an account that was lowering the quality of service for it's other hosted users
- Paranoidmarvin, on 07/22/2008, -0/+1Yeah, Apollo and Mobile Chat are ok, but I've not jailbroken my 2.0 yet
- Haecceity, on 08/02/2008, -0/+1No, I tried the app and it gave me a message saying that editing functions would be added later. Perhaps it was you who didn't try the app? Or perhaps you tried a later version.
- Sephr, on 07/22/2008, -0/+1http://iphone.wordpress.org/2008/07/22/wordpress-f ...
- Palaceguard, on 07/22/2008, -0/+1some people have more time leaving anti-iphone comments than filtering apple news
- Jerk, on 07/22/2008, -0/+1You obviously weren't using the wphone plugin. WPhone provides an excellent way to post to your wordpress blog. It even does some things better than this app (which is quite nice.)
- InorganicMatter, on 07/23/2008, -0/+1Does it work on WP 2.2.1? Too lazy to upgrade...
- waydee, on 07/23/2008, -0/+1Oh great, just what the Internet needs.
- punkcat, on 07/23/2008, -0/+1hopefully that would be the end of your blog too, and let us know where you threw the phone also, i wouldn't mind one.
- tomarocco, on 07/23/2008, -0/+1Keep typing.
- GoldenChaos, on 07/23/2008, -0/+1Awesome. Since Wordpress powers a very large non-blog site I run, it's good to know that I can now submit stories on the go. It'll make me less lazy. ;)
- dood, on 07/22/2008, -0/+1And people not caring. I have a wordpress blog, and if it, somehow, ended up on digg and fell over from the load, I wouldn't be upset. People might not get to see my awesome opinions for a few hours, oh no!
- iericg, on 07/22/2008, -0/+1Just about all of the free third party apps I've used seem buggy & crash. I just wish Mobile Safari had the ability to upload an image. That would solve a tone issues.
- tomarocco, on 07/23/2008, -0/+1Vista
- mickmel, on 07/23/2008, -0/+1Nope, it needs 2.5.1+.
