- kiantech, on 10/17/2007, -42/+446so pretty much pc user makes 6 figures a year, and mac user takes it up the ass trying to get rides hitch hiking.
- Jereso, on 10/17/2007, -68/+333At least windows users can shut up and stop acting like pompous pigs.
- chrislongridge, on 10/17/2007, -9/+200I look forward to seeing this again in another six months.
[/sarcasm] - Mookeh, on 10/16/2007, -6/+160For a minute there I thought, 'What the hell, Seinfeld?'. It's even in the description.
- jonr, on 10/21/2007, -9/+157Mac advertising hasn't changed so much, eh?
- cayqel, on 10/17/2007, -5/+126I feel a sudden and strong desire to sell my MacBook
- drakethegreat, on 10/16/2007, -2/+117I love the whole IBM wears suits and is totally serious mentality. I thought this was true until I showed up for an IBM interview and I was the only one not wearing jeans. Hats off to stereotypes in making me look like a complete idiot.
- SuperSunny, on 10/17/2007, -23/+131I'm Linu...XORG FAILURE
- ButterBuddha, on 10/16/2007, -7/+115HA HA Mac users have mullets
- digitul, on 10/16/2007, -9/+97but they look so hip and trendy doing it!
- disgruntled, on 10/16/2007, -15/+101One thing PC users can do that Mac users can't:
http://www.thebestpageintheuniverse.net/c.cgi?u=ma ... - andrewsmith1986, on 10/17/2007, -6/+90my first thought was "wow, what a douche mac guy is."
- petemcfraser, on 10/14/2007, -4/+86Matt Damon, meet Jerry Seinfeld.
- nishay, on 10/14/2007, -10/+83that was dumb
- inactive, on 10/16/2007, -7/+76So, Windows users are professional and Mac users are casual?
Why do Macs cost so much more than a PC? - inactive, on 10/16/2007, -5/+73They forgot the salary comparison:
Windows guy salary: $150,000
Mac guy: Still lives with his parents and buys "kewl" swag whenever he saves enough. - tehrob, on 10/21/2007, -26/+87Hi, i'm a Mac.. and I'm a PC
- NewChar, on 10/13/2007, -4/+53Yeah, who wouldn't want to be doing ass favors to hitch a ride.
- cherrick, on 10/16/2007, -10/+58There's no such thing as a Windows notebook.
- digudown, on 10/16/2007, -2/+48You have to be casual with your money to pay more for the same hardware ;)
- unearth, on 10/13/2007, -2/+48No, he just has more money.
- coyo7e, on 10/16/2007, -4/+48It's a bit heavy-handed, but it's a good idea for an ad. Unfortunately, looking at this from a professional perspective, one dude looks like an obnoxious poseur journalist, with a backpack full of failed cable protocols and equipment.
Apple Newton? Sucked.
PhoneNet? WTF.
Carries an extra keyboard in his backpack? WTF.
Swatch Watch? Ugh, I thought they were cool when Magnum PI was on.
Job? Nope.
Ironically, the stuck-up guy in the suit with a bag full of tools, sounds like he would be an excellent addition to my IT Dept's networking team. He probably makes a ***** of money compared to Mister Starving Journalism Major, and he doesn't look like he's going to call in to work with a hangover. - EmitStop, on 10/14/2007, -14/+58...Isn't Bill Gates god?
- redxii, on 10/15/2007, -4/+45The Mac belief is now "Belief: Steve Jobs is God and can do no wrong" with "WWSD: What Would Steve Do?" bumper stickers.
- mrmacky, on 10/14/2007, -14/+51Dugg up because you told this pompous pig he was a pompous pigs for calling mac users pompous pigs :)
- bentheo, on 10/14/2007, -2/+39oh man, 90s computer users are so burned
- telepwn, on 10/21/2007, -7/+42People are taking this completely the wrong way.
The picture clearly makes fun of both sides, it's not meant to promote Mac over Windows or vice versa.... - dawnlikethesoap, on 10/17/2007, -9/+43EXACTLY.
lol - digitalarcanum, on 10/16/2007, -1/+34it's called the 'Apple Tax'
- mattes5, on 10/16/2007, -5/+37I rather be the pc guy
- grubworth, on 10/17/2007, -4/+35lol Desmond from Lost.
- Dokument, on 10/28/2007, -14/+45buried
- comradeTJH, on 10/14/2007, -1/+32uhm... honestly which one of these guys on the pic would you choose to be?
- dioxide, on 10/23/2007, -3/+33the mac guy is missing a fannypack.
- noumuon, on 10/15/2007, -2/+27If I want to manufacture biological weapons with my copy of iTunes, I will, fascists.
- praisethelard, on 06/06/2008, -1/+24A "no pants" day, huh?
- lukee, on 10/13/2007, -1/+24He is. Ever noticed on Seinfeld how there was always a Mac on the desk in Jerry's apartment?
- Jeffler, on 10/14/2007, -0/+22 IT LINKS TO A JPG YOU ***** NITWIT
(sorry, that needed capslock) - StealthTomato, on 10/16/2007, -1/+23Seriously.
"Hobbies: Spamming Windows-only developers."
Yeah. Spammer. Way to be cool, man. Way to be cool. - pharekyz, on 10/14/2007, -14/+34EPIC FAIL
- digitalarcanum, on 10/13/2007, -3/+22performing fsck...
- Goobernutz, on 10/21/2007, -1/+20Great. Now I need to go out and buy a wacky watch. Does Mac make a wacky watch? Perhaps an i Wacky iWatch? In brushed aluminum. With a "number flow" face. Something to match my wacking socks. I mean...my wacky socks.
- superkendall, on 10/16/2007, -2/+20Kind of funny the IBM guy is noted for the splash of color in the power tie, while the Mac guy is all plain denim (apart from the watch)!
- ShuttleDisaster, on 10/13/2007, -6/+24apparently jerry seinfeld is a mac user
- inactive, on 10/13/2007, -2/+19this is digg, isn't there permanently an apple related story on the front page? i thought that was like, the rules here
- inactive, on 10/13/2007, -1/+18What you didn't hear: They both don't know where 2nd and James is.
- phibit, on 10/13/2007, -3/+19Maybe it's just that YOU've been on Digg too long?
- StealthTomato, on 10/14/2007, -0/+16Gen'rally it's the opposite. The ratio of PC snobs to PC owners is MUCH lower than that of Mac snobs to Mac owners.
I've never had a PC guy approach me at total random and go, "Hey, did you check out my PC? It's soooo much better than a Mac. Look at this! I bet a Mac can't do this!"
Yet, I've had more than one Mac user do almost that exact thing. I'm standing there going, "who ARE you? Do I know you? Why do I care about your computer?" - ThinkRad, on 10/14/2007, -0/+16I guess it depends on what division you interview with. When I got hired I interviewed my boss (khakis), her boss (jeans) and a future co-worker (jeans).
I wear whatever I want. Big Blue rules. -
