youtube.com — If the iPhone Stopwatch can display true amounts of time, then this test will prove it. What would happen if it displayed 1,000 hours? Will the world come to an end? There's no real significance to base-10 numbers when talking about electronics, since your times are going to be limited by the data representation (probably a 32 bit unsigned int in this case). As the stopwatch appears to just be converting the int to a string (which is why it expanded without issues at 10,000), the presentation of the number seems to be graceful enough to accommodate additional digits anyway.
