- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+28or a mac book controlling a wii?
- UncleHenry, on 10/12/2007, -0/+20I can see it now, Roomba Wars where players are flailing their macbooks around trying to control them.
- tsunamisteve, on 10/12/2007, -0/+18Great... now I HAVE to get a Roomba.
- N080dy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+16Or fling it at your TV screen.
- WackyT, on 10/12/2007, -3/+18A $1000 remote for a $200 vacuum cleaner?
Sounds like Apple logic. - akifbayram, on 10/12/2007, -2/+15Imagine controlling it with your Wii controller...
- digger_twit, on 10/12/2007, -3/+12Look at this idiot's profile:

He trolls around digg commenting stories with: "Pics or it didn't happen"
Ban this bastard! - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8this has managed to be the coolest and most useless thing I've ever seen, at the same time!
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Why would anyone take the time to make a fake video like this? Really.. think about it.
- JerodSlay, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7Apple Repairs : "And how did this damage happen?"
Mac Book Owner: ".... well.... I was flinging it around to control my roomba....." - moofer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4We love our Roomba - we named him Sparky. My wife saw me watching this video on my MBP and promptly told me to leave Sparky alone. :-(
She knows me so well. - shmatt, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4"Invalid User Provided"
looks like he's gone! - Atomic1fire, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4 you stop posting or i will block you

You are a ***** tool.
nice work digger_twit - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3He needs to saturate the values so it won't think you are tilting it to the other side.
Kinda like how pixel values dont go over the white value when you add colors. - docsimmons, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3yea Perl!
- todbot, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3crazybrit, check out the source. it's not that much different than MacSaber or any other of the AMS/SMS apps available for the MacBook.
- idonthack, on 10/12/2007, -3/+5I'll put razors on its brushy things. Then you can set it on your arm and when we turn it on you'll become SUPER EMO-MAN.
Or maybe I could use it to cut the lawn. - Tricky, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Roomba battle!
- buzzert, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3This is the coolest thing I have ever seen in my geek life.
Roomba FTW - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3That's a good idea, until you drop it...
- shmatt, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2rofl
crazybrit, welcome to digg - eatrains, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Wow. A WordPress site that has survived the front page (so far).
- shmatt, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2i hate it when the end begs
- huper, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2A company that makes the Rootooth Adapter has another product called the Rootilt (A small device with an accelerometer) he just decided to be pimp and use the MBP sensors with Perl.
In other news, this is the same guy who did the Control roomba from a cell phone and a really good java roomba control api.
-C - dyvbond, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1And so starts the begging of the end..the day when roombas take over...
- wstrucke, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3@crazybrit
... blocked - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2It's not exactly the Mt. Everest quote, but awesome nonetheless.
- jmontes, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Now you just need to add the monkey head...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_hyzPvTiNDk - shmatt, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1ugh... way to miss the point, friend
- daines88, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Until you get out of range of bluetooth ;)
- firepenguin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1dude that is freaking AWESOME!! I wonder what made him think to do this in the first place?
- BlackCow, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I think it would be better with arrow keys or a joystick. Ohh and have a web cam on it. You could clean the house from your chair! Laziness to a new level.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3Or throw it out the window.
- videoCT, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1a wii remote or a joystick would be a little more practical. Sort of reminds me of using the Flock of Birds with early VR.
- kittyglitter, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Roombadome!
Two Roomba Enter! One Roomba Leave! - dyvbond, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1**beginning
spelling Nazi - ez12a, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0he did explain why it seemed to act a little weird if you tilt the macbook TOO far (the direction reverses). and seriously... did you expect the roomba to zoom all around the room? The sensor wasnt meant to control anything except the HD. Its just cool that he was able to take advantage of it.
"Okay then everyone, digg me down for stating my opinion. Cool!"
well, if you insist *dig down*. - slickto, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0@schmatt: 15 diggs for WackyT who said:
A $1000 remote for a $200 vacuum cleaner?
Sounds like Apple logic.
More like $2000
Get it - duh - crazybrit, on 10/12/2007, -6/+1To get attention on Digg?
- slickto, on 10/12/2007, -6/+0Can't play games. Guess I'll drive my hoover around and... wow now I can use my Final Cut.....!
- crazybrit, on 10/12/2007, -10/+2Whatever then. And I don't mean to sound like a bitch, but thanks for digging me down for stating my opinion, guys!
- crazybrit, on 10/12/2007, -12/+2Okay then everyone, digg me down for stating my opinion. Cool!
- crazybrit, on 10/12/2007, -14/+1That looks a little fake if you look at him tilting the Macbook and how much the Roomba actually moves, but maybe it's just me.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -30/+2Pics or it didn't happen
