- anaesthetica, on 10/10/2007, -17/+287Luckily, Digg does not feature a VIDEO SECTION where video content could be submitted.
- griz, on 10/10/2007, -5/+162Funny, but my first question when watching it was, why are these Paint designers all using Macs?
- griz, on 10/10/2007, -6/+140Are you seriously complaining about Paint??
- apsivam, on 10/10/2007, -23/+142Hilarious!!!
Microsoft could use this as one of Vista's promotional Ad. - mojaam, on 10/10/2007, -8/+123Okay, this made it to the frontpage with only 30 diggs? I can never grasp how this algorithm works.
- awhiteflame, on 10/10/2007, -5/+90Actually, we do. Open Preview.app, select File->New From Clipboard, select File->Save As.
Or my preferred method:
Open Preview.app. Command+N. Command+S.
But, then again. You don't need to use copy+paste when making screenshots on the Mac. CMD+Shift+3, a png appears at ~/Desktop. - tf5bassist, on 10/10/2007, -8/+84this=product of too many bored mac users with too much time on their hands.
funny stuff indeed. :D - Kingconsulting, on 10/10/2007, -2/+76How about the pipes screen saver in the background? I laughed every time I saw that.
- Azimuth1, on 10/10/2007, -12/+85The only thing that stops me from using Paint as a quick copy+paste thing for saving screenshots and such is the fact that when you save a s a .jpg it uses horrible compression settings which make it look like crap. So I have to resort to opening Photoshop. I wish they'd let you choose what level of compression you want.
- praisethelard, on 06/06/2008, -0/+71Sshh...don't question the Algorithm. It's listening!
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -25/+88The guys in that video embodies everything Mac holds dear: skinny, dorky gay guys.
- Gymbo, on 10/10/2007, -4/+58see mac users need more games
- meruru, on 10/10/2007, -2/+54Clearly the two sentences under the video prove that this is an article and not a video submission.
- Scyth3, on 10/10/2007, -3/+47I think he is...seriously...
- snowdog, on 10/10/2007, -15/+54That was funny as hell.
Thanks! - strangewill, on 10/10/2007, -16/+51Hilarious? I'm disappointed, I was expecting some cool new imaging software, not making fun of something thats over 10 years old.
- Stonekeeper, on 10/10/2007, -3/+37What's so funny? I, for one, cannot wait to try this awesome bit of software.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -3/+37Most of the screenshots are better off saved as png anyway.
- Xenogis, on 10/10/2007, -4/+37We have all sorts of games! You can choose from WoW, Doom 3, WoW, WoW, or Doom 3
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -8/+41did you see the guy with the turtleneck
- rubbad, on 10/10/2007, -1/+33Because Macs come with a free image editor, right!
- neonfunk, on 10/10/2007, -5/+37kid pix rox!
http://www.pixelpoppin.com/kidpix/KPHistory/OriginalKP.gif - shinynew, on 10/10/2007, -0/+31little known fact, they actually made that entire video in paint
it was over 9000 hours of paint, but they did it. - livejamie, on 10/10/2007, -3/+33 BerwickonTweed (13 minutes ago) Marked as spam
Paint sucks. I heard Adobe Photoshop is better.

man i love youtube comments. - mglmouser, on 10/10/2007, -13/+43That got tiresome rather quickly. Nicely executed, but tiresome.
- spawnof, on 10/10/2007, -9/+39I'm sorry, I can't take anyone seriously who uses a 3D Pipes screensaver.
- streak, on 10/10/2007, -1/+30Paint's color intensity control goes to 11. Other programs only go to 10, but Paint's goes one more, to 11.
- Attrition, on 10/10/2007, -6/+35He's right, so why is he being dugg down? I use Paint to save screenshots of googlemaps (with some extra lines etc drawn on the image). Saving it as a .jpg immediately washes out the colours (and adds artifacts) as it uses a low quality compression. Sort of like saving a .jpg in Photoshop with the quality slider all the way down. Try taking a screenshot of this post and saving it as a .jpg in Paint. The text will look horrible. Aaaand back to lurking...
- praisethelard, on 06/06/2008, -3/+30Yeah...but...it's paint. I don't think Microsoft has updated it since 1995.
- jcheng, on 10/10/2007, -1/+28It doesn't come with OS X.
- theOster, on 10/10/2007, -3/+30say what you will, but it also depends on the dedication and talent (as always) of the user.

(and also - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yo_iWzagX24) - tradwolley, on 10/10/2007, -0/+26And here I just use it to draw horns and mustaches on people.
- UKsHaDoW, on 10/10/2007, -0/+26I think he adds to the designer stereotype.
- bassoondux, on 10/10/2007, -4/+27"The future is in the past."
Dugg just for that. - seanherman, on 10/10/2007, -1/+24The video section is like a ghetto, more appropriate for videos featuring girls farting
- cjwl, on 10/10/2007, -2/+24Obviously too young to have used MacPaint.
- FoxOrian, on 10/10/2007, -0/+22OSX doesn't have Paint, or an app for drawing purposes so to say,
but it does have Preview which can accept copy/pasted material and save it as almost any file type you would possibly need, with compression/quality options. - JeffreyLloyd, on 10/10/2007, -3/+25I use the function so much I shortened it to apple + F13. But you are right, OS X makes it effortless to create screenshots.
- dinot, on 10/10/2007, -4/+24Look at me and my machine that is better than yours because it does everything yours can do except I like mine better.
Snore. - seattle98104, on 10/10/2007, -2/+21well paint does run under wine ....
lol - paulgifford, on 10/10/2007, -4/+23***** blogspam
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hxx2KcPWWZg - sholt, on 10/10/2007, -2/+19for that, there's Command+Shift+4. Gives you a selection cursor, then saves the selected area to a png on the desktop.
- Teej, on 10/10/2007, -2/+19Yes, because I watched the video.
- Darcy, on 10/10/2007, -12/+29Why do all Mac users have such punchable faces?
- melonhedd, on 10/10/2007, -4/+21Don't use JPG for screenshots. Problem solved.
- blackmage439, on 10/10/2007, -3/+18Dugg. Photoshop is sooo last-gen.
- abandonedhero, on 10/10/2007, -3/+18Wrong. It's not from Microsoft. Quoted from the Paint.net website:
"Paint.NET is a trademark of Rick Brewster."
Not a Microsoft product, but still a pretty nifty little app. - lordsteve, on 10/10/2007, -0/+13"Oh no!"
- fuzzmeister, on 10/10/2007, -0/+12Ahh, 2nd grade.
- neuropsychguy, on 10/10/2007, -3/+15Not that there's anything wrong with that!
