            I'm predominately a windows user, purely due to work requirements, at home I use Linux because it does what I need. I have no issue with Mac computers.

            I was simply responding to the stock issue. Macbooks, and iMacs aren't what drive Apples stock prices, it really is the iPhone and the iPod that do that. So saying "the only reason AAPL stock has been consistently cranking is because the stuff they make is pretty and shiny" is basically true. People don't buy an iPhone because it's the best available, they buy it because it's a fashion accessory. It's the same with the iPod, although to a lesser extent, as a lot of people don't know there are other options.

There are some things OSX does better than XP and there are some things that XP does better than OSX. Personally, I have switched back and forth a lot and now I use both, I have put XP on my Mac, and I am in the process of putting OSX on my PC laptop. On the other hand, can you take it out of your ass? Does it hurt? Is it in that deep? Do we take infinite pleasure in commenting on the absolute relevance or the flawless spelling or phrasing in one's submission? Or can we just look at the picture and crack a smile and move on with our lives? Thanks

Sure, some people who use Macs become Mac or Apple fans, but there's nothing special about this. Everyone is a fan of something, and there's no accounting for taste. Just look to the El Camino and AMC Gremlin fanatics out there. There's no accounting for taste. As for me, Macs have always been decent machines, no worse and no better than PCs or any other desktop computer/workstation I've worked on. However they're certainly not going to get me down on my knees begging for Steve's blessing though. . Besides, Steve is rude and arrogant, and as much of a fanboy of himself as many of you are. Violent Blue incident, anyone?
