- Bstodian, on 01/29/2008, -3/+7This might be the greatest jailbreak since the 1.1.1 www.jailbreakme.com.
- Markok765, on 01/29/2008, -3/+1I still use that. But on a Touch

- JaggedToaster, on 01/29/2008, -3/+2If they can get the time required to jailbreak down, it definitely would be.
- ThinkBox, on 01/30/2008, -0/+2Greatest....? well most people seem to say that this doesnt work, and crashes their home screen...
Please say "Greatest" after you have tested it and you think it works
- Markok765, on 01/29/2008, -3/+1I still use that. But on a Touch
- Markok765, on 01/29/2008, -3/+2What about a iPod?
- JaggedToaster, on 01/29/2008, -2/+2iPod touch? It would work with that too.
- Markok765, on 01/29/2008, -2/+1Should I upgrade mine then?
- JaggedToaster, on 01/29/2008, -1/+2I would suggest sticking with a jailbroken 1.1.2 until the SDK is released, to see if anything gets messed up. Its all personal preference though.
- JaggedToaster, on 01/29/2008, -2/+2iPod touch? It would work with that too.
- kenshin159, on 01/29/2008, -2/+4Just performed the update and it worked perfectly.
- kaytrio, on 01/29/2008, -0/+2Any ideas if it works with anysim unlocked phones?
- AriX, on 01/29/2008, -2/+2It does :)
Once you upgrade, it will remain unlocked
- AriX, on 01/29/2008, -2/+2It does :)
- thesoze, on 01/29/2008, -1/+2i heard some problems with this...anyone upgrade from an unlocked 1.1.1 phone?
- FBMGriever, on 01/29/2008, -2/+1Yeah I just tried and it put me at the 1.1.3 DFU screen. I am now being forced to downgrade to 1.0.2 (which worked fine with iBrickr).
And it was indeed supposed to work fine with unlocked phones (which mine was and soon will be once again) - Sethwm2, on 01/29/2008, -2/+1I am going to try this when I get home from school, this seems like a much easier option that doing all that stuff on the computer. I will just downgrade to 1.1.2 and unlock and put installer on.
- Chris24, on 01/29/2008, -3/+1Great work Ari and Ben!
- DeathAngel0125, on 01/29/2008, -6/+2This would be really exciting news if I gave a ***** about the iPod.
- econoar, on 01/29/2008, -2/+1Since this story is about the iPhone...?
- sockpuppets, on 01/30/2008, -2/+1Well always make sure to click on threads you have no interest in then follow it up with a worthless comment. Your popularity at Digg will soar I tell you... SOAR!

- nofaith, on 02/01/2008, -0/+1Just a warning, this method will disable the playing of protected songs on the iPod. And I've heard reports that it will disable YouTube videos also.
