Can I choose my Zune color?
Sorry, no. We only use brown Zunes for the maximum anti-theft protection.
ROFL. ^_^ - Gatesophile, on 10/18/2007, -9/+252At the bottom: "This is all just a big gag and you couldn't order a Hide-a-Pod if you wanted to."
So yes, it is fake. But it doesn't make it any less funny. - katovar, on 10/18/2007, -19/+214I would buy one but I'm not sure I'd want to be seen with a Zune. Even a fake one.
- mattcoady, on 10/19/2007, -7/+104While browsing at work:
"Still using Internet Explorer, the “Zune” of Web browsers? You really should try Firefox. It's so much better:"
Nice - Sk1ppy, on 10/18/2007, -5/+88Dugg for "I had been losing 3 to 4 iPods a day..." in the testimonials.
- drethedog, on 10/11/2007, -12/+88Will all iPod models (and iPhone) fit?
Of course! The Zune is so incredibly huge that there’s plenty of room for any iPod or iPhone along with your choice of accessories, a sack lunch, and maybe a small cat. - chris4404, on 10/11/2007, -36/+107I like my Zune :(
- thegreatsam, on 10/26/2007, -11/+80Awesome. If only it were real...
- Darmichar, on 10/19/2007, -3/+56The 'Buy now' link in the upper right corner takes you to a spoof ordering page that provides some humorous error messages.
- jbink303, on 10/11/2007, -7/+46Best page of 'em all.
http://hideapod.com/order - iRoy, on 10/11/2007, -5/+38Yeah well Zune realted stories pop-up every once in a while. They're like unicorns, 'cept they're brown and nobody likes them, so I guess they're more like trolls than unicorns. Who wants to go see Harry Potter?
- inactive, on 10/19/2007, -19/+51I hate that emoticon so much.
- bSimms, on 10/14/2007, -4/+32I don't know what that means. but I laughed.
- norbiu, on 10/11/2007, -10/+35Holy *****, it's Bill Gates!
- xylifyx, on 10/11/2007, -2/+26The perfect cover for those working at Microsoft and, of course, wants to be able to use their Ipod at work
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -12/+34Even better when you order it in ***** brown colour
- jeszus, on 10/19/2007, -16/+37if I had the chance, I would steal a Zune just as fast as a Ipod..........................not that I steal things
- kingfoot, on 10/11/2007, -8/+29you bought a $600 phone? that sucks man, you shoulda gotten an iPhone, it's great, the next iPod and it can make calls and browse teh real web. The quality is great, too bad it's AT&T only though. Trade-offs I guess.
- cmer, on 10/11/2007, -11/+32Dugg just for the title! lol!
- RG13, on 10/19/2007, -14/+34bury me
- CraigJ, on 10/11/2007, -8/+28Chris Says:
While I don’t own an iPod, I find the Hide-a-Pod great for storing valuables. Jewelry, birth certificates, gold bullion. It all fits with room to spare. And everyone seems to steer clear of what appears to be a feces-stained scientific calculator. - 80hd, on 10/19/2007, -4/+24Don't let anybody judge whats good for you. (reasonably, or unless it's funny as hell)
- coredump0x01, on 10/19/2007, -2/+22Holy crap, A wordpress site that didn't collapse under the weight of Digg? What's the world coming to!?
- jamesburton1, on 10/11/2007, -3/+22Your right, uSuck.
- OBKenobi, on 10/19/2007, -1/+19Frankly, I don't like the Zune or the iPod. I need something that has better support for piracy.
- lollercopters, on 10/11/2007, -1/+19I thought that was intended.
- danlovejoy, on 10/11/2007, -5/+22> I don't see microsoft fans attacking apple,
That's because you're not a Mac user. I can't tell you how many years I heard, "Apple is going out of business." "Why don't you get a real computer?" "Why do you use a MAC if you know about computers?" (Note that for some reason, Windows geeks always CAPS "MAC" like it's an acronym.
The slams were almost always by people like MCSEs who had their entire identity and professional life tied up in worthless MS certifications and the inherent clunkiness of Windows.
I'm a Mac user, not a big fan of Apple. I just don't think there's any reason to run down someone else's personal choice. I don't think there's any point in making fun of the Zune either. - tidu, on 10/11/2007, -2/+19Step 1: Cut the trout
Step 2: Put your junk in the trout
Step 3: Give her the trout
(Step 4: File her divorce statements) - gd1z, on 10/19/2007, -0/+15You don't?
- WiseWeasel, on 10/11/2007, -2/+16They gotta use up all their "meh" first...
- riah, on 10/11/2007, -2/+16I loved this one:
"Thank heavens these things aren’t cluttering up our landfills anymore.
Reminds me of a problem a friend had.
He left his Zune on his dashboard when he went in to the grocery store. When he came back out, he discovered someone had broken into his car and left three more Zunes." - samdu, on 10/11/2007, -4/+18And in turn, they're providing us with entertainment. Your problem is?
- stalefries, on 10/11/2007, -1/+14Ugh, think of trying to hide Firefox inside IE.
- crushfan, on 10/19/2007, -5/+17It's cute, okay? >_>
- tjdoom, on 10/11/2007, -1/+13I really really want one. I was hoping they were for real. Maybe this can end up like the 8-bit tie on ThinkGeek.
- ScrumFritter, on 10/19/2007, -5/+16If I knew someone with one, I'm sure I'd check it out.
- diabolicdiablo, on 10/11/2007, -7/+16Thats like saying my car has an anti-theft device because it's a P.O.S.
- CraigJ, on 10/19/2007, -7/+15I tried to but the scroll wheel didn't work on any of the ones I tried... Oh, wait...
- iRoy, on 10/11/2007, -8/+16sits there and sucks.
- Sparkster185, on 10/11/2007, -1/+9You're a ***** moron.
- keviniskool, on 10/11/2007, -0/+8The error in your logic is assuming there are microsoft fans.
- edster, on 10/11/2007, -0/+7Why don't people sit 2" from their 60" screen? Maybe because it looks like ***** because its all pixelated. Would you rather have a 60" standard definition screen or a 40" high def? Me, I'm going with the 40" high definition.
- samdu, on 10/19/2007, -6/+12I've messed with one. And I'm still perplexed at the "wheel" that isn't, in fact, a "wheel." I mean, yeah, MS copies other people's stuff, but usually it actually does what the original does. In this case it's a matter of copying something's looks without even trying to copy the functionality.
- inactive, on 10/19/2007, -0/+6Never can get what you want, huh?
- Aythun, on 10/11/2007, -0/+6Is there any particular reason why you haven't set Digg to expand the whole tree automatically in your settings if you're going to complain about it?
- DaffyDuck, on 10/11/2007, -1/+7"yet with 1 (ONE) click I get "A PC comes stuffed with software you’d never want to use. A new Mac comes with the stuff you want.""
That's because OS X is an alternative to Windows, not vice-versa. Everyone is familiar with Windows, not everyone is familiar with OS X. It's a common practice with other product types for the underdog to compare their product favorably with the market leader. - TheFBI, on 10/11/2007, -0/+6*You're
At least get your insults right. - nondescrypt, on 10/11/2007, -3/+9he's bitter, he owns a Zune
- samdu, on 10/11/2007, -1/+7Also effective.
