tuaw.com — Oddly, instead of using the iPhone to browse the 'real internet' users are pointing MobileSafari to more and more iPhone specific websites (which smack of the 'mobile web' to me). What's the deal with that?

With its growing popularity and demand it makes perfect sense to have iPhone specific websites. Mobility is the call of the day and of the future and once the iPhone and similar mobile devices are easier to get in the market, those who switched to making sites for these devices will have the pioneers advantage.
Others will eventually join in, despite all the grumbling they're doing now.
iPhone and like gadgets are the future...jump on the bandwagon to boast of being the first few to have realised its importance and implying benefits.
