- skeen07, on 01/20/2008, -1/+9I have a iPhone, love it, but I definitely get the feeling that it's "not all there". It seems like Apple really held back on the software, and perhaps we'll find out why soon enough, but I anxiously await future software updates - it's a device that absolutely does not use its full potential, jailbroken or not.
- markwilcox, on 01/20/2008, -3/+10Wouldn't you rather have an option to have it either way?
- Firehed, on 01/20/2008, -0/+3The only thing that annoys me with the iPhone's mail client is that I can't have unified inboxes. I've got three or four different email addresses on the thing, and while almost all of my mail goes to the gmail address, I've got a few messages where I have to back out three screens to choose the different account and switch over.
- inactive, on 01/20/2008, -0/+2Exactly dumbass, "not too much you can do with that." I swear some of you people get dumber by the minute.
- skeen07, on 01/20/2008, -0/+2Mm na, doubt it.
- Severys, on 01/20/2008, -0/+2Spot on! I tend to read my home and work emails on two different machines and my iPhone but it is really annoying when the iPhone doesn't recognise POP email as read.
- arizonagroove, on 01/20/2008, -1/+2The screen is too small? The only way to make it bigger would be to make the iPhone bigger. How big would you like the iPhone to be?
- PaulPinfield, on 01/20/2008, -0/+1Yes, the simple answer is to move to IMAP. I suppose I should have prepared myself better.
- perandre, on 01/20/2008, -1/+1I don't think about it much.
- PaulPinfield, on 01/20/2008, -2/+2What I would like to see is the option to either show multiple emails as read or for the sync process to sort the process.
- ocularist, on 01/20/2008, -4/+4happy for what I have :)
- inactive, on 01/20/2008, -3/+3It's fine either way. Personally though, the screen is too small, not too much you can do with that.
- spargett, on 01/20/2008, -4/+4She's not as hot as you'd think. I've seen her in person a few times. Looks totally average in real life. It's just within the context of female nerds that she excels.
- spargett, on 01/20/2008, -4/+3Oh man, I would personally love to have this. This is one of those features that you could simply turn on or off and make everyone happy.
Mr Jobs, I know you're reading this. - balzac69, on 01/20/2008, -2/+0They probably held out on the software so they can put a generation 2 of the same iPhone hardware, just with that application on it. Then they will charge you poor suckers around the same price or slightly more for marginal improvements which they could have easily put on the first iPhone. Gotta love business.
- chkdg8, on 01/20/2008, -5/+3What was shown at macworld 2007 and what is out now on the iphone are two very different things. Macworld's features were more than what's out right now. False advertising? Maybe. But no one is really going to care enough to make a big deal about it. It can only get better with future FW updates.
- joeycerone, on 01/20/2008, -16/+11I like it better the way it is. Quit complaining already.
- quomen, on 01/20/2008, -8/+3I think the smug look on his face is explained by him having an extremely hot girlfriend in Veronica Belmont.
- antechinus, on 01/20/2008, -6/+1Just like the two button mouse, the two pane UI was found to be too complicated for most Apple users.
- quomen, on 01/20/2008, -7/+1Yeah maybe. haha I just wrote that comment because I thought it would get a lot of diggs.
:P
seriously. - egonSchiele, on 01/20/2008, -13/+3in other news, Ryan Block hates Apple.
- superpixel, on 01/20/2008, -15/+4damn skippy. will apple ever get email right? I mean, how hard is it?
