- wontstoptalking, on 07/16/2009, -0/+6How could they not include GeoDefense? I actually bought the full version after playing the light version....which is a rare feat for an iPhone application.
And it's awesome.

At least try the free version. The full is a bit pricey, but totally worth it. - MonsterRayn, on 07/16/2009, -1/+71/3 is the new 1/2
- oep4, on 07/16/2009, -0/+5most of these are great games. might i suggest shelling out 5 bucks for a great RPG called Zenonia...So worth it...
- jman583, on 07/16/2009, -0/+5The full is on sale for $1.

Live Poker - Multiplayer Over 3G Poker(http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/ ... - wpennb, on 07/16/2009, -0/+5Heaps! I've got a gaming PC and an Xbox360 and I find myself playing games on my iPhone most often. Mainly coz it's always there with me and doesn't have to be booted up.
It depends on the genre. I was addicted to the port of Wolfenstein & SimCity. I like the Monopoly. Doodlejump, Rolando. There's heaps that are well suited to the iPhone form. - synagence, on 07/16/2009, -0/+5Whats the point in a list of free games that is dominated by 'lite' versions?!
Should contain valid full and free games instead of cut down versions of pay apps - lovemorgul, on 07/15/2009, -0/+5how many are quality games though?
- nutmac, on 07/16/2009, -0/+4Dated and overrated.
- SixChamber, on 07/16/2009, -0/+41) PapiCatch.
Download this game and be addicted forever. I'm warning you. - PhoenixAvatar2, on 07/16/2009, -2/+6A better list would be of 99 cent games. There's a lot of good ones.
- efice32, on 07/16/2009, -1/+4cube runner ftw
- amolkold, on 07/16/2009, -0/+3Yo Papijump FTW.
- JayClark, on 07/16/2009, -0/+3Oh, come on, they were emphasizing the word "free". That's a common way to do it, especially where you can't make a word bold or underlined (as in the title up there).
You really have a problem with that? - bloominoctober, on 07/15/2009, -1/+3I would include iShoot Lite on this list as well.
- omarlassan, on 07/16/2009, -0/+2Doodle Jump is better
- SquareWheel, on 07/18/2009, -0/+2If I remember correctly, you only get three plays, after signing up for an account.
- Shmebber, on 07/16/2009, -0/+2Excellent list. I have a 9 hour train ride to deal with in a few days, might as well install a few of these and entertain myself.
- puzzlegeek, on 07/16/2009, -0/+1I've played quite a few of these - TapDefense, Topple, and JellyCar are fun for sure. But it seems to be the exception rather than the rule when a free game has same kind of production resources as a paid app.
Take for example Numbrix ( http://digg.com/d1rxtV ), which is one of the featured apps on iTunes right now. This game is constantly being updated with new puzzles which get pushed down to the phone every few days, all for $3. So basically for $3, you get something you can play over and over again, instead of a free game which you might play once or twice and then delete.... - jman583, on 07/16/2009, -1/+2Well, I think only one of them are bloody.
- mrBitch, on 07/16/2009, -0/+1GeoDefense light, and FlightControl are the two most addictive (and fun) apps that also tend to drive you a little bit crazy...
- OrangeTide, on 07/16/2009, -1/+2Adventure, Frotz and Rogue are free. I like those better.
- Pthalio, on 07/16/2009, -0/+1how about iBattleship? its battleship, on your iphone.. you can play against the computer or if you and a friend both have iphones play together
- jman583, on 07/16/2009, -2/+2Galcon is an amazing game and you can play it for free on instant action:
http://www.instantaction.com/ - rihoattila, on 07/26/2009, -1/+1My best is iTunnel 3D Lite, a fast paced action category game. You have to try it!
http://su.pr/6EupG4 - sodoh, on 07/16/2009, -1/+1Hence the reason free?
- xxxtremenamexxx, on 07/16/2009, -1/+0My favorite is Touch Ski 3D Lite, and the full version is only $0.99
http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/ ... - mrBitch, on 07/16/2009, -2/+15 "lite" demos out of 15 is not "half of these" ...
- frambris, on 07/16/2009, -6/+1Free is not an acronym and therefore written like any other word, not allcaps. OtherWISE one could WRITE random WORDs as caps AND everyone (everyone? EVERYONE!!) would BE annoyed as HELL.
- thajuggla, on 07/16/2009, -5/+0I have a cool iPhone game. It's called go buy a damn iPhone, and quit being a failure in life.
- OrangeTide, on 07/16/2009, -7/+2name one quality game free or otherwise for iphone.
- 1ockedand1oaded, on 07/16/2009, -6/+0hmm dut those it have a wireless controller that thosen't have you throwing the console all over the place i ask you.
- inactive, on 07/16/2009, -7/+1I have a cool iPhone game. It's called save a ton of money, and not be a braggy douchebag, by not buying an iPhone at all.
