I may not use Apple, and give them a lot of *****, but I see that they're a viable alternative machine. I try to keep up on all tech. It interests me. I'll buy a more capable machine, as soon as one is put on the market that can do what I want, at a cost I want. Brand loyalty means NOTHING to me.
So yes, I read "technology > Apple"
But to complain about it, when you COULD shut it off and never be bothered about it again, shows that he's not smart enough to properly manage a customizable web page, much less an operating system.

That's because it's an Aqua desktop and this is the *Apple* section of digg. I would fully expect a Windows Vista logo variant would do well on the Microsoft side, but it would have to be similarly clever. Like a big Windows logo with Homer sticking his head out one of the panes or something.

Bandying about the term "fanboy" demonstrates the exact same character flaw that you are trying to imply in others. People who dugg this didn't do so just because it has an Apple logo, and everything Apple must be dugg. They dugg it because they genuinely liked it.
