- sadpoti, on 08/01/2008, -6/+50i think he forgot the rest of that headline
"Tap Tap Revenge Approaches 1M Users, Music Industry Notices a new way they can try to nickel and dime the ***** out of you"
maybe it was too long - TopSlacker, on 08/01/2008, -2/+34It was way better pre-2.0 when it let you play your own music...
- rhettmaxwell, on 08/01/2008, -3/+34i'd tap that
- mlbwebdesign, on 08/01/2008, -3/+221million? How many uninstall after playing for 20 minutes?
- jjustin01, on 08/01/2008, -0/+16Once the music industry gets involved, it will no longer be free.
- omnivector, on 08/01/2008, -0/+10We don't have access to the music in the iPod app on your phone, and we can't put apps on the app store if we tried to use private apis. We're doing what we can though, and will be adding more music to our library in other ways.
- ryleyleckie, on 08/01/2008, -1/+9could you imagine if everyone explained why they dugg a comment just like you did there?
- Harbinger1080, on 08/01/2008, -0/+7At least this one. But, it was more like 20 seconds.
- paulsabo, on 08/01/2008, -0/+6Must be a lot of RIAA goons on Digg burying you...
- netneutrality, on 08/01/2008, -2/+8No kidding. It's the least funny thing I've heard all day.
- edstate, on 08/01/2008, -0/+5And I was wondering if there was something better than "turn the beat around" over, and over, and over again. ;)
- Urbanninja622, on 08/01/2008, -0/+4Uninstalled about a day or two after I got it. Kept my occupied while waiting in line for Dark Knight.
- phyburn, on 08/01/2008, -1/+5RIAA building their case as we speak ^_^
- mcmullet, on 08/01/2008, -0/+4It's fun for about 5 minutes. Install base is large because it's free.
- jsreid, on 08/01/2008, -1/+5this is good, I'm tired of playing the same three songs.
- ZenFu, on 08/02/2008, -0/+3I find it hilarious that this is actually a cut-down version of the jailbreak app, probably has less users than the jailbreak app, doesn't let you play your own music (like the jailbreak app) and no one in the industry gave a crap about it.
Yet when it's released and distro'd on an Apple server, everyone stands up and pays attention.
Amazing what the power of the shiny white apple logo can do eh? - DevinOlsen, on 08/01/2008, -0/+3Go download one of the ten+ other songs then...
- ZenFu, on 08/02/2008, -0/+3Regardless, it's the same app, just with less features and distro'd by a different group.
Q: What makes this app any different from a JB app?
A: Marketing. Apple provides a wider audience due to the app store and industry bigshots clock on-to a winner.
Makes you wonder if apps like InstinctivShuffle and SynchStep will ever get off the ground. They have the potential to be huge (Hell, synchstep alone can replace the nike+ running attachment) but because they're not in the app-store, investors and backers won't see their potential. - Radan, on 08/01/2008, -0/+3You can however turn that off if you want. Go to settings -> Shakes and turn it off.
- Cowboy1015, on 08/01/2008, -0/+3I have yet to beat Tiffany0801 in the easy nick gallant track... when that happens, maybe i'll consider buying tracks...
- GoldenChaos, on 08/01/2008, -1/+4By that logic, Guitar Hero is a ripoff of DDR, and Konami should sue.
- Urbanninja622, on 08/01/2008, -0/+2I liked Tap Tap but I would really like to be able to play my own music again.
- dannydowney, on 08/01/2008, -0/+2everything should be free - all. free then I will tap dat!
- brainnovate, on 08/01/2008, -3/+5should be RIAA takes note, plans to sue iphone owners.
- nowsourcing, on 08/01/2008, -1/+3No doubt that the music industry would take notice. It's a great game, considering that it's free. That being said, perhaps that's why its free - to have a platform for the music industry to line up and try to get in on that.
- underdawg, on 08/01/2008, -1/+3the old version was better. now there's an additional different kind of note where you shake the device in the direction of the arrow. it's a little buggy
- Justice101, on 08/02/2008, -0/+1Fap Fap Revenge! Now with RIAA imposed restrictions! Get it while it's hot.
- latin69, on 08/01/2008, -0/+1It's cool!
- omarqaz7, on 08/02/2008, -0/+1Where do you live?
- WikiEasy, on 08/02/2008, -0/+1No thanks. This app keeps spamming me on my iphone wallpaper app. Annoying as hell.
- leerayIG88, on 08/01/2008, -0/+1Fap Fap!
- tiytil, on 08/01/2008, -0/+0beautiful game...
- thakur01, on 04/27/2009, -1/+1Looks like its time for me to install this app.
- wavesmachine, on 08/01/2008, -2/+2Get this, the app store isn't available in my country... WTF is up with that?
- ronfez, on 08/01/2008, -1/+1DDR is a ripoff of Simon, which itself is a ripoff of Ball in a cup
- scarlem, on 08/01/2008, -2/+1BOD
- max1018, on 08/02/2008, -2/+1Well actually, that's because the music industry is seeing an official app taking hold, and not some jailbreak app.
- locojones, on 08/01/2008, -5/+2Yeah that doesn't look like a rip-off of Guitar Hero's game mechanics at all. Can't wait for the injunction to drop on this one.
- jjustin01, on 08/01/2008, -6/+3That actually made me laugh at all. As dumb as your post is, it's the fact that someone actually went there that made me laugh.
- inactive, on 08/01/2008, -13/+4Everytime I see an article submitted by MrBabyMan I get diarrhea and this is no joke.

What is Digg?
