- oOLiquidNightOo, on 10/12/2007, -7/+127they probably factored the extra 30 minutes in for applause.
(i mean that in a good way ;) - jmholloway, on 10/12/2007, -3/+99The only thing better than Christmas: An Apple Keynote!
- jclicky, on 10/12/2007, -5/+95Its the Steve Jobs Keynote Special Extended Edition
- Settra, on 10/12/2007, -17/+106This is like an extra long porno for mac fanboys..

- carrotopp13, on 10/12/2007, -2/+54they need a new picture of steve jobs...
- shad0w, on 10/12/2007, -6/+50Only a true fanboy would dream about an apple product release.
- titlesaysitall, on 10/12/2007, -3/+43Oh and like 5 more things.
- chicken101, on 10/12/2007, -3/+42You should start using drugs. You don't know what ***** up is.
- SpecMode, on 10/12/2007, -2/+35For the record, the keynotes in 2004 and 2005 were both right around 2 hours long as well; I'm thinking they've simply compensated this year by building the extra time into the schedule for once.
- megagram, on 10/12/2007, -23/+55Would you kindly digg this down, sirs.
- rdoger6424, on 10/12/2007, -9/+40@megagram
I will track you down and shove that statement in your face if he announces an iPhone.
(yes, feel free to do the same to me if he doesn't) - Dihuko, on 10/12/2007, -4/+34Suddenly my MacWorld predictions just changed. I orignally thought there might be the iPhone, and mabey, just mabey the new iPod. Now, I am thinking we might definately see one of them-if not both. :D
- Rice, on 10/12/2007, -1/+30Am I the only person excited about iLife and iWork '07?
- SomeJoe, on 10/12/2007, -4/+32Not to burst anyone's bubble, but he's always blocked for 2 hours. He always ends early, or whenever he feels like it. The Intel announcement at WWDC was something like 45 minutes long with a 75 minute intermission.
I'm excited too, but this is getting dugg down as inaccurate. - darkalias, on 10/12/2007, -7/+35A Steve keynote can't be long enough...
- Luigi239, on 10/12/2007, -3/+31Hehe.
Leopard's new features, and maybe GUI is killing me :( - rdoger6424, on 10/12/2007, -1/+27OMG WILL HE RELEASE A PONY :D
- flamingmb, on 10/12/2007, -0/+18yeah cause it gives you something to spend all the apple giftcards on!
- mrfreeziexp, on 10/12/2007, -1/+19Never have I wanted a week to pass as badly as this one.
- flamingmb, on 10/12/2007, -0/+18they do, thats 1997 steve.
- DankLogic, on 10/12/2007, -5/+2112" MacBook Pro, pretty please!!!
- ZPWeeks, on 10/12/2007, -2/+17Thank you for your authoritative advice. I no longer need to read any of the incessant Apple rumors, thanks to your seemingly psychic analysis.
[/sarcasm] - MakinBacon, on 10/12/2007, -3/+18"I can't ***** stand the typical Apple techies who gew their pants at every little thing apple does."
Kind of ironic coming from a guy who calls himself "iwankalot"? - SpecMode, on 10/12/2007, -1/+16>I just checked, and you're wrong. They have been 1 1/2 hours for a few years now. This one is longer.
Actually, no. They were both *scheduled* for 1.5 hours, in that you are correct...but if you have copies of the videos from both keynotes (which I do), you would know that Stevenote '04 was almost exactly two hours long, and '05 was 1 hour 54 minutes. The only difference this year is that IDG actually allotted the entire 2 hour block to the keynote this time. - winnch, on 10/12/2007, -3/+17>Um, the 360 offers pretty much everything the iTV does (when jobs previewed it last year) and its available NOW.
Can I wirelessly stream my iTunes TV/Movie content to the 360 and watch it with an incredibly elegant interface? Can I view Apple's great HD movie trailers and browse the iTunes store?
Because those are some of the biggest selling points (so far) for the iTV.
Also, can I get that Xbox 360 for $299? Can I get that Xbox in a super-slim form factor? Can I get an XBox with fans which, when turned on, don't sound like a freight train?
No, no, no, no, no, no, and no. Next. - tfinniga, on 10/12/2007, -1/+15Homer's Brain: Don't you get it? You've gotta use reverse psychology.
Homer: That sounds too complicated.
Homer's Brain: OK, don't use reverse psychology.
Homer: All right, I will! - biff198, on 10/12/2007, -1/+14"In what way is the current iPod not a "true video iPod"?"
Um, for a long time now, people have been referring to the current iPod as not the true video iPod. The true video iPod would have a much larger screen with a much larger resolution, possibly engulfing the entire front of the device. - thejokell, on 10/12/2007, -1/+13I want to watch all my DivX and XviD movies on my TV. Can the 360 do that?
- deadbaby, on 10/12/2007, -3/+15My sources inside Apple tell me the last 30 minutes will be Steve doing an acapella version of Stairway to Heaven.
- bantam, on 10/12/2007, -1/+12Cant wait till next week!!!
- Petronski, on 10/12/2007, -5/+16@megagram
"Never," huh?
What are you, Kreskin? - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+13dugg. just to piss off the anti-fanboy fanboys.
- Ireland, on 10/12/2007, -3/+12You think you can control us? Ha!
/on second thought you probably used reverse psychology, so you did control us after all, damn you!! - winnch, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10>Suddenly my MacWorld predictions just changed. I orignally thought there might be the iPhone, and mabey, just mabey the new iPod. Now, I am thinking we might definately see one of them-if not both. :D
So, you went from thinking maybe we'd see an iPhone and iPod... to thinking we definitely might see them?
I'm intrigued... - megagram, on 10/12/2007, -7/+16muahahaha! It worked!
- P5ycHo, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10Are you actually trying to tell apple fans to buy a Microsoft product?
- anagoge, on 10/12/2007, -2/+10My sauces tell me I must eat them.
- eridius, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9Check it out:
http://www.macworldexpo.com/live/20/events/20SFO06A/keynotes
9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the 2006 expo.
Perhaps this one really will run longer? - Schnep97, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8@bbcountach
He said from CES, meaning any electronics company, not apple.
So its very possible. - codyman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Longer than a state of the union address...
- iAlex, on 10/12/2007, -3/+9"FFS people its just a god dam computer company."
Nope. - mk32066, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7HOLY CRAP! His presntaion is going to be a 1/2 hour longer, everyone rejoice!
- neuropsychguy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6I'll start a rumor: He's going to have Paul McCartney on stage performing and to announce that the full Beatles catalog will be available on the iTunes store.
*that really would be cool but it won't happen. Not that I care that much, I own all the CDs. - TheWorm, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6Saying absolutely there will or will not be an apple phone at this point is just stupid. No one knows for sure.
It would be an awefully big letdown after about 2 years of rumors, but in typical Apple fashion, nothing is for sure until the keynote. - jrbrewin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5that implies steve's look changes with time.
- jonahan52, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6Well if you do your work on them you'd know they are "Xserves" not "Xservers".
