- estvir, on 10/12/2007, -8/+64You can find the same video on Youtube, Google Video and elsewhere. Amazing, eh ?
- mtownand1, on 10/12/2007, -11/+62digg me down or steve will never give another keynote again.
- GawtMilk, on 10/12/2007, -7/+28Not only did I digg you up, I've made it my life goal to sign up as many multiple accounts as it takes to keep you dugg up.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -4/+19The worst part is that Soapbox tried to prolong the torture of Ballmer's sweaty mug by trying to stop me from leaving:

"Are you sure you want to navigate away from this page?". That dialog needs a "*****, Yes!" button. - whistlerpro, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11Steve Jobs isn't that much of a geek, his staff would know what that was.
- smorg, on 10/12/2007, -1/+12@TheOtherGuy: ever heard of sarcasm? guess not...
- greatblackowl, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10I dunno.. I just feel like, every time there's an embarassing blooper for Jobs on stage, someone gets fired.... Or worse....
- firepowered, on 10/12/2007, -2/+12[" It was there a long time ago....

wtf.........thats the most weirdest thing ever.. - WhiteIce89, on 10/12/2007, -17/+26"It's pretty awesome when it works." - Steve Jobs
If you had to sum up Apple in a sentence.. - ilgaz, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10Found the Youtube video which is lot older than this beta spam one with 107.000 views (surprise!)
http://youtube.com/watch?v=jAsxzwHaGjk
Have fun. - ewcost, on 10/12/2007, -5/+14Great bloopers!
- Speed, on 10/12/2007, -4/+12Proof that Gates isn't the only one to get demo karma.
I find it kinda funny that all the Mac fans are bashing this video saying Microsoft made it and published it when MSN soapbox is just a Youtube rip off, meaning its user submitted. But don't let something stupid like facts get in the way of people like Bobo and Amigoro. They can just live with truthiness I guess.
But ya, funny video, but let's not forget these programs that were crashing were, for the most part, still in development, so crashes are to be expected. It's the same with the Windows 98 demo at COMDEX (except they never did fix those millions of bugs), or with Forza with it Bluescreened the Xbox. Or Media Center not working...
The point is, everybody is human, even Steve Jobs, and everything, including Mac programs can crash as I've experienced that numerous times at my school. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -5/+13Soapbox sucks worse than these two demos:

http://soapbox.msn.com/video.aspx?vid=3df176b6-4730-432a-ab24-ff26ea099cc5 - consonance, on 10/12/2007, -13/+20Inaccurate. Everyone knows that Apple products always work, no matter what. The video was obviously fabricated.

- jasonpoon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Watched in the macTV podcast before, but still funny.
"That's why we have backup system.", that's why Steve's keynote is great.
My friends' lecturer told them if they want to know what is a good presentation, watch Steve's keynote. - blago, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6LOL,
This is the actual first error message: "Msn has no properties"
Here is a screenshot: http://www.dachev.com/msn.png - kiantech, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7if I had a nickel every time this was on digg..
- estvir, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6I guess you think Youtube posts all the videos on their site themselves ? Newflash, Soapbox is just like Youtube and other sites - users upload the vidoes.
- meatmcguffin, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7"Better to be a pirate than join the navy" - steve jobs
Not many CEOs would say that these days - rockforever, on 10/12/2007, -10/+15HERESY I SAY! He can do NO wrong!
- hotsoda, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6"Microsoft never take a stab at Apple. Apple on the other hand take a stab every now and then."
"It's better than going back in time!" - vcn3wb05, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5works fine for me and loads instantly in firefox.
- Gatesophile, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Why would you see a BSOD at an APPLE keynote???
- MikeCerm, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4I'm sure you are counting Steve among those who'd not say that today, right?
- ThankTheCheese, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5"Are you sure you want to navigate away from this page"
gets my blood boiling every time. - unother, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4I dunno if you could really say he looked embarassed. I would think he failed pretty gracefully. Stuff happens, just be composed is the rule--and he achieves it.
I think it was more of a "Broken Macs" blooper reel than a "Steve Jobs Embarassments" reel.... - Darph.Bobo, on 10/12/2007, -17/+20Hey Microsoft while you're posting embarrassing videos don't forget YOUR Steve.
Developers,developers,developers,developers,developers,developers,developers,developers,developers,developers,developers,developers,developers,developers,developers,developers,developers,developers,developers,developers,developers,developers,developers,developers,developers,developers,developers,developers,developers,developers,developers,developers,developers,developers,developers,developers,developers,developers,developers,developers,developers,developers,developers,developers,developers,developers...
and SWEAT... - BingeBoy, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5The editing is good but Steve is much better than he seems in this video. I think its really funny how this has been posted on Soapbox. Hopefully someone will do a better Bill one on youtube. Since Bill's keynotes have much better mishaps.
- Gatesophile, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3No matter how many time I see this video, I laugh. It's great to see how coolly on stage he handles things like that.... but I bet backstage some guys are ***** their pants because Steve is going to tear them a new one...
- Darcy, on 10/12/2007, -4/+6So does that mean the people who submit only positive Apple stories and negative Microsoft stories work for Apples PR?
Or does this rule only apply one way? - ilgaz, on 10/12/2007, -6/+8Look at the submitters history and tell me he isn't working as PR for MSFT
http://www.digg.com/users/iluvspokane/news/submitted
I have no problem with "bloopers", they are always funny. The site requires passport account AND invitation mail and when I check submitters history, it is "Zune"- "microsoft" and nothing else. - livet0ski, on 08/17/2009, -1/+3coincidence that this is on MSN... i think not
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Did you not see him throw the camera at that guy. He was very obviously pissed. Even the audience knew that... just listen to their uncomfortable "he... hehe.... he... "
- Sham3d, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4Cute!
- gaijintendo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2What was the box Steve was holding.... with the grey box falling out the back of it?
- HesNikke, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2if i recall right, it was a portable hard drive powered by a powerbook G3 (wallstreet even) battery. the battery fell out.
- PhillyMJS, on 10/12/2007, -6/+7That's it, digg me down, bitches! Truth hurts, doesn't it???
- iseebluuue, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4steve always handles these things with good humor, which is nice...but i bet people sometimes get reamed backstage
- Zique, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3I wouldn't wonder if some of those were planned. "Authentication with Kerberos and NTMLv2" isn't exactly the line to connect you with the audience, as opposed to something like "Kerberos and... whatever that is".
- harpdog, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4I have yet to see a blue screen of death at one of apple's keynotes but I seem to recall windows 95 having that embarassing moment.
- Avalontor, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3Can't you at least pretend to read the the f'ing comments. It can be found anywhere on the net you moron. This has nothing to do with Microsoft and everything to do with Jobs and his companies keynote speeches. Even Apple has it in podcast.
- Ulvund, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1He knows nothing about hardware - impressive.
- vintechsys, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3MAN! a lot of mofos are not happy with this post
- supermanred, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2this friggin site soapbox ***** wants me to do so many things before watching video, so ***** it. When will people learn I dont want to be interrogated or tell you my mothers name just to watch a video.
Frigg off!! - Darcy, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4Hmmm, let me think.
- Jeezoflip, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Ive seen this before. Pretty funny.
- u16085, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1odd, Bill gates + scanner + bsod was the joke of the decade,... and now this.... this makes balmer and his developer video shine.
- XISUPERMANIX, on 10/12/2007, -4/+4ahh look at all these fanboys
