So much for my time away from the computer

venturebeat.com — Two things about me: 1) I always have my nose buried in my iPhone. 2) I always have Google Reader open in my web browser at home. Putting those two together, you might have thought I was a heavy user of the Google Reader app for the iPhone, but I really wasn’t. I did like it a lot, but only in spurts.

I personally like to get away from electronic media when my day is done and I've done my 8-12 hour tech hell day. I hate the droves of dorks nose to their blackberry and iphone. Nothing better to me than going somewhere there is no reception and no one can bother me.

  • Bronowyn, on 05/13/2008, -3/+2I don't know the mechanism of diggs to front page, but i always assumed that the speed of digging along with the number of diggs is what got something to the front page.
    I'm probably wrong, but that would explain all the low numbers on the front page.

  • DCGUY12, on 05/13/2008, -7/+5I have a Blackberry Curve, which in my personal opinion is better than the iPhone in some ways, although it has a smaller screen granted I can type much faster than the average iPhone user.
    I've pimped it with the iPhone icons, and have all of the Google apps a boy could want on it, Twitter berry and Facebook feature. Also have WeatherBug Direct for weather icon that shows the temp and forecast.

    So, that being said, where's the Google Reader improvement for my Blackberry? I just tried the beta on mine and it does nothing.
