- idiosyncrisia, on 12/05/2008, -3/+59No way?!? He's using the most popular mp3 player out now? What great news!
- benologist, on 12/05/2008, -10/+64Who gives a *****.
And also it was a PR problem he was seen with a Zune??? Get the ***** over yourselves. - KSteezy, on 12/05/2008, -3/+53why do people care about this?
- aznhomig, on 12/05/2008, -5/+35Fanboys.
- inactive, on 12/05/2008, -4/+29"Fanman"?

- SawButter, on 12/05/2008, -2/+17Does anybody know which toothpaste brand he uses ?
- WiZZLa, on 12/05/2008, -1/+16This is extremely sad. I guess the economy is doing amazing for Wired and others to truly care about this.
edit: IIRC, Sony's Betamax was never "second rate".
wtf?
“You can’t run an election claiming you own an iPod and garnering people’s votes then after you win suddenly start toting around a Zune. That’s just not cool,” writes James Poling.
“The news today that Obama is apparently a Zune user disapoints me. I wouldn’t mind trying one, but I wanted him to be an iPod President,” Twittered Scott Thatcher
"Barack Obama Uses a Zune. Who is the Maverick now?" - passedoutghost, on 12/05/2008, -0/+13I think this would be more appropriate: http://www.emporia.edu/earthsci/garden/rock06.jpg
- Beenard, on 12/05/2008, -2/+14Scary how much attention is paid to these things. Next is his preference of XBOX 360 over PS3 and WII.
- HarChim, on 12/05/2008, -6/+17NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
I have a Zune. I finally thought it would be cool to have one if he had one.
Oh wait, Zune + Zune Marketplace with Zune Pass > iPod + iTunes. People just want to feel cool with their white headphones. - CoreyTamas, on 12/05/2008, -2/+12Obama is probably asking that exact same question right now.
- karmaghost, on 12/05/2008, -7/+16MORE LIKE PRESIDENT-ELECT OBMA'S ADVISOR SAYS HE'S AN IPOD FANMAN! Read the goddamn article and post an accurate title, you dumbass.
- inactive, on 12/05/2008, -0/+8i've had a Zune for 13 months. i've never seen another person in public with one. ever.
- MattyDienhoff, on 12/05/2008, -0/+8He's probably angry at the fact that this happens so often, not because this particular article is mis-titled. Many little things become a big thing. ;)
- thedrue, on 12/05/2008, -1/+8Who really cares what type of music player he uses? This is the problem with politics, the tiniest things get blown waaaaay out of proportion! It's a disgrace to the candidates and a disgrace to the American public.
- e2superman, on 12/05/2008, -0/+6Maybe he wears Haynes too? Who gives a *****. Why are people sniffing this guys armpits to see what deodorant he is wearing. This is just stupid.
- goleopards1, on 12/05/2008, -0/+6will every personal consumer choice this guy/family makes be praised and emulated by throngs of people? Live your own lives for christ sake! Its okay, you can have self esteem and do something Obama is not know to have done.
- yellowfish04, on 12/05/2008, -0/+6oh plzzzz let it be crest extra whitening, PLZZZZ!!!!!!
- jackdaniels06, on 12/05/2008, -0/+6He would go for a Wii, no doubt. I'm thinking his daughters would go for a Wii and he goes for what his daughters go for. Also the Wii is a social platform the whole family can get into. Also non violent..
- cddict1, on 12/05/2008, -0/+6Because they don't have anything else to care about.
- scissorfiend, on 12/05/2008, -0/+5This man is a politician, not a celebrity on reality tv. Please keep it that way.
- inactive, on 12/05/2008, -1/+6Another awful media/Obama jerk-off session. BURIED
- inactive, on 12/05/2008, -0/+5So now the President has become a walking billboard?
- omarciddo, on 12/05/2008, -4/+9iPod + Barack Obama = Front Page
Too bad he won't trade in his BlackBerry for an iPhone, eh fanboys? ;) - Metaleks, on 12/05/2008, -2/+6Except the Apple fanboys, can anyone honestly say that they give a *****?
- TheYoshi, on 12/05/2008, -0/+4"the issues" is a pretty bold statement. I mean does using an iPod help him with foreign or economic policy?
- spider-man, on 12/05/2008, -0/+4Hilarious. "Fanman". Obama's just so great he can't be described with the phrase "Fanboy" like anyone else. Oh No, he's not a fanboy, he's much more than that, he's a FANMAN. And the obsessive, irrational adulation continues...
- darkism, on 12/05/2008, -0/+4"That's unless the Supreme Court has its own say on the matter-at-hand."
It won't. The only reason the court is taking this meritless case is to shut up the idiot whackjobs like yourself who go around baselessly claiming he's not a citizen.
You guys lost. Hard. And fair and square. Get over it! - inactive, on 12/05/2008, -6/+10WOW i am quite sure Iran and North Korea will be impressed...Yawnnnn
- Dymphna, on 12/05/2008, -0/+3He already is getting more intel briefings than the current President, and hasn't even started the job yet.
What more do you want from him, seriously. - cdigioia, on 12/05/2008, -3/+6You're right...but you seem excessively angry about it...
- inactive, on 12/05/2008, -0/+3If having a PR problem consists of having a Zune, I can't imagine the problems that foreign policies will soon have.
- kreatre2007, on 12/05/2008, -0/+3I think it's disgusting myself. I'm a very conservative guy and, I've been a Mac user for over 22 years. I don't think that the consumer electronics and computer industries need to be lumped into political identification. It's all about what works best for you.
- darkism, on 12/05/2008, -0/+3YEA YOU GUYS STILL HAVE A CHANCE TO INVALIDATE HIS CITIZENSHIP AND WIN THIS THING!
except not. - Kyan, on 12/05/2008, -3/+6Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipisicing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt ut labore et dolore magna aliqua. - vertigo32, on 12/05/2008, -3/+6Is this a ***** Onion article?
Does anyone really give a ***** what music player Obama uses? This is every bit as irrelevant as if he uses a PC or a Mac, or if he wears boxers or briefs.
Jesus Christ the Mac fanboys get on my nerves. - charm803, on 12/05/2008, -4/+6Up next in our special report:
Do the Obama's prefer one ply or two ply?
Stay tuned as we uncover what goes on in the loo.
Right after these messages. - kreatre2007, on 12/05/2008, -0/+2I don't agree with you on that. One thing to consider is why are Mac users (myself included) so devoted to the platform? Apple didn't gain such a loyal following because the make mediocre products. Knowing Obama uses Apple products doesn't interest me at all. I say that this whole story is more of a waste of time and energy than the Mac vs. PC debate. At least that debate is more important than what products our president-elect uses.
- inactive, on 12/05/2008, -3/+5Wonderful ***** logic.
Get out. - alpha19, on 12/05/2008, -0/+2I've used my iPod constantly for 3 years, and still have over 6 hours of continuous play time. If you download songs through iTunes... well you deserve what you get.
But most of all, I'm burying you for your stupid ass username. - inactive, on 12/05/2008, -1/+3calm down dear
- jtscira, on 12/05/2008, -1/+3I don't care what he uses. Just a fun article to level out the turmoil in the news.
Bottom line I am happy to see someone that knows what an MP3 and a Blackberry is. - enotswhat, on 12/05/2008, -0/+2josh said it best
"this is retarded. fire yourself" - inactive, on 12/05/2008, -1/+3WOW! THAT'S AWESOME! With all the crap going on the world, people want to know what kind of MP3 player he uses? OMFG we, as a country, have some really ***** up priorities. Or shall I say 52.9% of the population does. Pathetic.
- krytz86, on 12/05/2008, -1/+3Thrown off his face.
- Elranzer, on 12/05/2008, -2/+4Maybe that means all the neo-cons will rush out to buy Zunes.
