- korvan504521, on 11/13/2008, -3/+36If they ever get WoW running on the iphone I think much of civilization is going to grind to a halt.
- brett1337, on 11/13/2008, -4/+22apple is just now beginning to grope at the iphones endless possibilities
- caddyalan, on 11/13/2008, -0/+13There's a certain "us versus them" mentality among some game fans which says things like "Portable multipurpose devices can't possibly compete with computers and consoles." Maybe, maybe not. But stranger things have happened.
- fromedome, on 11/13/2008, -0/+8Anyone had a chance to play the poker game yet? Or online TTR?
- freehunter, on 11/14/2008, -0/+8Nintendo properties on a non nintendo device? i remember such delusions when i was in middle and high school.
- puttly, on 11/14/2008, -0/+7You can already play Galcon in 4 person multiplayer.
- ASSASSYN360, on 11/14/2008, -0/+5Let me get this straight. You can play multi-player games on the iphone but you still can't message video and pics!?
- macbookcoard, on 11/14/2008, -0/+4TTR online is actually pretty good. Gives you a group pool to play each song in and gives you live rankings. It's pretty polished, I'd say.
- fromedome, on 11/13/2008, -0/+4Ha! That would be pretty sweet. I'm hoping for SimCity in the not-too-distant future.
- sl123000, on 11/14/2008, -0/+4Maybe it's just me, but I wouldn't be able to play say: monster hunter on an iphone, not for the 200 hours I have in the game. As fun as the small, cheap iphone games could be, they aren't going to be selling experiences any time soon - and not without buttons.
- inactive, on 11/14/2008, -0/+3That is not my point. My point is that it is impossible to control most of the games on the device because they substitute an accurate control method (a D-Pad or buttons) with motion sensors which do not do a good job.
- alefox, on 11/14/2008, -0/+3cro mag rally needs multiplayer, when is that coming
- freehunter, on 11/14/2008, -0/+3I like the first paragraph. The second paragraph is what caused you to be dugg down.

- benologist, on 11/14/2008, -3/+6Gaming is a huge hit on the iPhone compared to what exactly? We rarely hear any gaming news about it other than occasional speculation that it's comparible to a PSP, GameSpot doesn't even have an "iPhone" section....
- Disease, on 11/14/2008, -0/+2I'm sure someone will emulate it eventually.
- nardo510, on 11/14/2008, -1/+3I love my Iphone.
- freehunter, on 11/14/2008, -1/+3It's a hit compared to any other cell phone. It still is no where near comparable in selection or popularity as the DS or PSP were at this point in their respective lives.
- GamingForever, on 11/13/2008, -3/+5Looks like some competition against Nintendo and Sony.
- underdawg, on 11/13/2008, -2/+4So after online gaming is perfected for iPhone, what's next? It does so much!
- elister, on 11/14/2008, -1/+3So true, no buttons = surge in broken dispays. console games can cause sore thumbs, because players push too hard on the game pad. Virtual Fighter clones will destroy ALOT of iPhones.
- Savvycat, on 11/14/2008, -1/+3I think an iPhone WoW Auction House would be cool enough.
- Disease, on 11/14/2008, -0/+2You should get some rest. Otherwise you'll never get over that cold.
- poogy21, on 11/14/2008, -0/+2I think people forget that there will be hardware changes in the future.. There will be faster networks.. There will come a day when these things are not going to be so hard to do..
However, I really am amazed at how Apple is taking on the current challenges with innovative design (both hardware and software). They are really opening the doors up for next-generation gaming / portable media devices.

- louis35, on 11/14/2008, -0/+1Iphone is cool! Thanks! Online games rules!
- orph3us, on 11/14/2008, -0/+1more ram, faster cpu, faster flash memory, bug fixes!!!
- thewoodgnome, on 11/14/2008, -1/+2I just installed Ocarina. OMG, this app is VERY cool. Basically it turns your iphone into a musical instrument which you actually blow into via the mic and then it outputs a flute type sound which you can control by covering holes on the screen. Now, that's pretty cool, but the best thing I like about it is that it transmits your songs as you're playing over the net and others can listen in. It shows you a scrollable world and you can zoom into a country and it lights up with dots which are people who are playing. You can listen and see the notes floating up in a cool 3d helix shape. It's simply amazing and I rekon this is the new thing to beat. I'm so addicted to it. lol
- BrendanSheehan, on 11/14/2008, -1/+2The iPhone is mind blowing! Next you know, it'll have copy & paste.

- elister, on 11/14/2008, -1/+2Awesome, I cant wait to play L.O.R.D (ledgend of the red dragon) on my phone. Eat it Zork!
- 2ptyou, on 11/14/2008, -0/+1How about Battletoads?
- ThirdPrize, on 11/14/2008, -0/+1Not multi player but Labyrinth, Trace, Bejewelled 2, Sudoku 101, Jelly Car, Lux Touch and FireTail all have a place on my phone. Trace is cool for the touch screen and FireTail and Labyrinth are good for the accelerometer. Jelly Car just looks cool.
- godsdead, on 11/14/2008, -0/+1How will FPS work?
- RedGreen1, on 11/14/2008, -1/+2You hope that the country goes downhill?

- poogy21, on 11/14/2008, -0/+1I think people forget that there will be hardware changes in the future.. There will be faster networks.. There will come a day when these things are not going to be so hard to do..

I LOVE MY iPHONE! - mrrealtime, on 11/14/2008, -0/+1yesss! gaming on a 3 inch screen while i ride the bus home from my job at mcdonalds!
Heres a suggestion.
When you arent home or at your place of work, talk to people nearby, around you. Instead of looking at a tiny screen that makes tiny noises, look around you.
theres this thing called voicemail that allows you to find out who called you while you were outside in the world experiencing reality. - techlife2, on 11/17/2008, -0/+0is Digg becoming an Apple-slave kind
- DaffyDuck123, on 02/11/2009, -0/+0yeah i like gaming news innit
