But then when the said date approaches, there's always some unexpected problem, delay or whatever which will prevent Apple from shipping the product. Nope, if I don't see it on Apple.com it's *****.

It's either true or false, it cannot be "slightly untrue" - the computer either is launched on August 7th or it isn't.
God, I hate all the stupid language these Apple "secret" sites use - clearly, they're taking shots in the dark. Thankfully, Think Secret have made such a bold statement that we will know once and for all on August 7th whether they are trustworthy (they haven't been for many many months now) or whether they are worth burying as inaccurate every time.

The Apple remote is hardly full of buttons, its very simple in design. All this means is the keyboard is going to have a few media buttons layed out in a similar way to the remote. This does NOT mean that you will no longer get a remote, or you have to carry your keyboard around as a remote, it just means that you dont have to lift your hands up from the keyboard to change frontrow.
Previous rumors about the keyboard have said it will have more media control buttons, so to say it has the same functions as the remote is consistent with this. - nyrol2, on 10/11/2007, -2/+9You know you can do that in your options, right? I like the Apple remote as it is, I don't want to have to carry around a keyboard just to control iTunes or Front Row. I hope if they do have a remote built-in they'll still have the regular tiny one which is pretty convenient. Then again this is all just speculation.

- lowter, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4You can already control FrontRow using the arrow keys and such on your keyboard. Why would you want more keys for controlling it? Perhaps an Fx button to bring up FrontRow, but that doesnt't require anything extra.
