  • inactive, on 10/10/2007, -2/+7whatever, man. its free to call skype uses all day long. and its pretty much the cheapest way on earth to make international calls, even to landlines. i use skype to talk to a friend in toronto for .02/minute. on my cell at&t charges me about a dollar per minute.

    Skype is currently on build 3.5 for windows and 1.4 for linux.
    Its been over a year and a half since linux support ended.

  • inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Skype-to-Skype I think, at least for the Windows version, and Im guessing its the same on all platforms. They give you a few minutes if youre a new user but thats it I think.

  • pixeldust, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0Me and some others seem to have a problem with this beta not correctly displaying our contact lists. If I have mine set to show my address book contacts when I restart Skype it only shows my address book contacts and nothing else unless I fiddle with it, then if I restart it the settings don't seem to be saved. If I disable show address book contacts then it works fine.
