Steve Jobs may as well have got up, said "you know all the new features already - we refreshed the UI a little, not much, replaced the finder with something that looks like iTunes, including cover flow, added a quick file preview feature and uh.. that's it. Also we've ported safari to windows for iPhone development, and we have a widget-like dev environment for the iPhone. Have fun! Cya!"

They didn't even throw in any features that people didn't already know about it. Cover flow for finder? Who cares! It would take me 15 minutes to "flow" through anything to find some of my files.

Apple has debuted a lot of hardware at past WWDCs. The G5 in 2003. Cinema Displays in 2004. The Mac Pro last year. As long overdue as the next generation of iMacs are, I was kind of hoping for an announcement today. I actually sold the 20" model that I use on the road instead of a laptop a few months ago and have been patiently waiting for the next gen before buying a replacement. -
