- sebastienk, on 10/31/2008, -22/+353Hilarious! This is exactly what PC from the ads would do :-)
- pyrates, on 10/31/2008, -42/+300lol I love this. This will surely piss off the apple fanboi's now.
- Branchex, on 10/31/2008, -8/+226So it's now a turf war.
- UtahApocalyse, on 10/31/2008, -48/+219"Life without walls" printed on a wall.... fail.
- inactive, on 10/31/2008, -22/+147Apple started this fight with their "I'm a Mac, I'm a PC" ads. Microsoft never lowers themselves to directly attack Apple, they do much more clever things like this.
- spepin, on 10/31/2008, -14/+107Microsoft is getting bold!
I love it! - inactive, on 10/31/2008, -12/+93dude, if the roles were reversed you would be claiming how smart apple is... so stfu
- megamod, on 10/31/2008, -25/+95They've got balls...later don't wonder: "DUDE, Where's my Parked Kiosk?"
Anyways...They should bring Seinfeld back!!! I wanted to see where he was going with the story in his commercial - Stormen, on 10/31/2008, -9/+71It's ON!!!!
- vondrak, on 10/31/2008, -13/+70Funny that apple chides microsoft for advertising when all I ever see are apple ads everywhere.
- scaper, on 10/31/2008, -1/+57yeah, maybe they should have littered the ground with a bunch of news paper clippings....
- inactive, on 10/31/2008, -1/+56I can only imagine what the drive-bys will look like
- mecharabbit, on 10/31/2008, -3/+53With the big picture of Deepak Chopra, how can it NOT work?
- inactive, on 10/31/2008, -0/+45No, they should have printed it on the air!
- pintomp3, on 10/31/2008, -4/+48i'm joe the pc?

- KnightMareInc, on 10/31/2008, -8/+46thats pretty awesome
- inactive, on 10/31/2008, -3/+41the name macslut says it all
- inactive, on 10/31/2008, -33/+68PC: "I'm a booth"
Mac: "I'm a full fledged brick and mortar store" - Enderplayer1, on 10/31/2008, -2/+36You think we don't know this?
- Sabre24q7, on 10/31/2008, -26/+58That's awesome. Everyone take cover! Apple Fan boy's incomming!!!!!!!! :(
- Chemosabe, on 11/01/2008, -1/+33I don't understand this slogan. "Life without walls".. If I lived in house without walls, why the hell would I need windows?
- streetread, on 10/31/2008, -2/+32PC != Windows
PC == Personal Computer
Someone tell the world please.. - inactive, on 10/31/2008, -6/+35Yeah because PCs hard drives crash way more than apples right???
No. - kazamx, on 11/01/2008, -1/+27Yea, as much as the ads got ripped it always felt like they were kinda building to something. It was like having the buildup to a joke but then they canned it. Many books are boring at the start as they set the scene and introduce the characters, but then things get going. Sad we never got to see what those ads could have become.
- GoatMonkey2112, on 10/31/2008, -4/+30Like DONKEY KONG!!!
no, wait, Apple's don't have games. - MScrip, on 10/31/2008, -1/+26Yeah! 90% market share isn't enough for them!
- aftern9ne, on 10/31/2008, -13/+36Mac fans have wanted competition in the computer industry for a while, but now they don't want the consumer to have their choices side by side?
- inactive, on 10/31/2008, -3/+24Apple can't do a commercial without bashing the PC over and over again, yet you complain just because Microsoft had some sense of humor by playing along without lowering Apple itself?
- inactive, on 10/31/2008, -9/+28And a recycle bin for your empty Kool Aid cup.
- BlakeEM, on 10/31/2008, -8/+26Fix what on vista? Last time I checked most the issues were hardware/drivers related and not a problem with Vista. On top of this they are currently working hard on Windows 7 to fix many issues people had with Vista, including the driver issues. I bet Apple spends far more on ads in proportion to what they spend on OS or hardware development. Not to mention Microsoft is one of the most wealthy companies in the world so I doubt they have to take anything away from OS development. If anything they just had the ad money sitting around in some couch cushions. The Apple commercials are a complete joke. Don't get me wrong, Microsoft has many faults, but this is not one of them. At least Microsoft says what it can do for you rather than how horrible the other guy is.
- jo0zi, on 10/31/2008, -2/+19@macslut; What historically brilliant marketing has Microsoft ever done? Microsoft has never really had to do advertising
- Utility, on 10/31/2008, -9/+26No, just speak as though you're an adult and not a teenage girl posting on MySpace.
- eviljolly, on 10/31/2008, -1/+18Not sure, but I suspect it would look something like this..
http://www.bc.edu/bc_org/avp/cas/fnart/fa267/pj/gl ... - charm803, on 10/31/2008, -11/+28It's really Mac's Halloween costume.
It's dressed as a PC. - groo68, on 10/31/2008, -6/+22The windows kiosk firing 2's into apples binary, while the apple store employees turn on their macbook pro's and hold them against the windows kiosk to melt the plastic.
- LiquidIse, on 10/31/2008, -17/+33"I'm a PC: I Cheat Death"
I think I am missing the point of this poster... - elduquex26x, on 11/01/2008, -1/+17PC: "I'm stealing your WiFi from my kiosk"
- audomatix, on 11/01/2008, -0/+15I didn't mind the ads. I liked seeing bill gates and Seinfeld ***** back and forth.
- neutronphaser, on 10/31/2008, -2/+16Plz send me an optical hard drive. Thx.
- Xihix, on 10/31/2008, -0/+14Microsoft pays a company to do advertising, just like many other companies do. There's nothing wrong with that.
- CPOliver, on 10/31/2008, -4/+18I can't see this doing any good as most people who loiter around Apple stores either own a PC and are there for the iPod/iPhone/Shiny gadgetery or they're already Apple computer devotees.
- spepin, on 10/31/2008, -3/+1790% and dropping with Apple's campaigns and the huge rising popularity.
10 years ago I don't know if I knew anybody with a Mac.
Now my girlfriend has one, a few of my good friends all have MacBooks. - Megadeth222, on 10/31/2008, -2/+16Vista had some problems, they made SP1, and life's good... except ppl stupid enough to buy products based on a clever advertisement still believe vista is this horrible unstable monster, when there is nothing freakin' wrong with it...The only reason Microsoft is doing poorly is because the masses are easily swayed without knowing what they are even talking about or looking at the facts/doing research.
Ive had vista for quite some time and its awesome...
i visit digg, and im a PC - LoveLikeRockets, on 10/31/2008, -14/+27iLike Windows.

The booth says "I cheat death." on it. - jakem1, on 10/31/2008, -1/+13Actually, I went into that Apple store in Birmingham once and was struck by how poorly everything was laid out. It was difficult to get to displays because the stock was packed together so tightly and the store is not that huge.
I was interested in their 30" cinema displays and wanted to see how they dealt with different resolutions. As I'm not a Mac user I didn't know how to switch resolutions so I asked a member of staff to show me. The guy was really arrogant and didn't make me feel at all comfortable.
As for well integrated into the building, it's just a shop in a mall. There's nothing special about it. - qwerter, on 10/31/2008, -12/+23Windows still dwarfs the Mac in terms of market share. Why are they acting like the underdog all of the sudden? Is Microsoft really getting that scared about the competition?
