- Boondoggle, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"I wonder how this will work in Sweden, where the iTrip is illegal"
Do you really wonder how it will work, which means you're a retard, or are you just being a *****?
It will work just like it does everywhere else, except it would be illegal. Now was that hard? - ,,|,_, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Big ups to Austin Modders Pool!
- griz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Why would you take the time to hack an iTrip into a Mac Mini. Why not hack a line level input into the head unit. Probably not as easy, but surely a much better quality solution. The iTrip is horrible for audio quality. Sure, it's a solution, but why bother.
- ghostaliaz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I think it is cool that this guy has tried this great hack. I did the same thing in my car but with a PC version that I made from a little micro mini mother board, but I do want to try the mac mini considering it is already made so it is not much to do but hack the extras in.There's nothing like reverse engineering to get the blood moving. I love it. not an extreme amount of documented data, but just enough to get me started, yes. But the it rip thing(not).

- chiklit, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It was only 3 links for me, but then the actual content wasn't all that interesting. Not really spam, but no digg either.
- arizonagroove, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0FFS link the article not some blog entry that links to the article.

- KamikazeH20mln, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0He used iTrip since his head unit didn't have a input RCA or headphone jacks. FM modulation is the next thing, but not the best. the diehard car PC/Mac'ers completely remove their head units.
- KamikazeH20mln, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This is nothing really new for Macs in car. We do it all the time here: http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=71 The biggest hurdle for us is a front end interface.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0pretty ugly install though... iTrip? not good... this guy did it much better:
http://tunertricks.com/blog/index.php?p=40 - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Why don't you just buy a little Garmin?
- jlgosse, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0i thought it was going to be a new add-on, not a hack
you make it sound like an add-on - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0auxiliary audio input, why would you want an iTrip
- DeezKnots, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0The iTrip wasn't necessary.
- spamdies, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0steve jobs let one rip, its called IFart
- geminitojanus, on 10/12/2007, -1/+08 Links later, you get to the actual content. Spam.
- Molnies, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0I wonder how this will work in Sweden, where the iTrip is illegal
Bad Link btw, can't people start to send in the source instead of all this junk? - yensed, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0The itrip Sucks Nutz...
