- kevinrose, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8works great - tested it.

well its about Mac, so theres your religion.
and its about MS, so theres your politics. (only a matter of time before someone says M$ all up in your grill!) - jhillestad, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2
This app works great ! If you have a mac and an xbox 360 get it... - Misos, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I'd like to have something like this for Linux.
- digitalpixel, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2"I wouldnt pay for ANY software that's on BETA stage...they shud actually PAY ME instead for testing their product. Dimwits."
Hmmm...that's a bit of a harsh statement, after all, you don't HAVE to use it. Plus, unless you're really hard up, 10 bucks isn't really going to break the bank is it?
Don't forget, that covers you for all future updates too so I think it's quite fair, I'd suggest easing up on the caffeine... - tapo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Heh, I guess I'm in the minority with an Xbox 360 and having a Mac will all my music and photos on it. So I'm glad to hear this came out.
After giving it a shot, the trial is limited (100 songs) but its fantastic. I can stream my music to my Xbox 360 in the other room, while playing Geometry Wars.
I haven't bought shareware in a while, but this is very, very, very deserving of my $10. - edgecurve, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Yep, $20 now. It will stream video from your Mac to the 360 too. Not that I store a lot of .wmv files on my Mac though. Regardless, it works as advertised and gets your xbox 360 access to your super cool iTunes music.
- Crusty, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I still think it's worth the money. I just bought a copy tonight.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1It's worth the $20. I've been using it for around 2 months now, and I stream all of my music (including shoutcast stations) and photos from my Mac mini to my 360. I've also converted some of my favorite video to WMV and it streams flawlessly. The product is solid.
- EllisBlackman, on 05/11/2008, -0/+1AWESOME PRODUCT.
- npulido, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1this is good.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1what! the price went up even more! dammit! it's 20 dollars now!
- chriskzoo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Got my $10!
- xakto, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1This tool is sweet, right now i'm streaming my iTunes music to my very nice denon reciever via my xbox 360. The iTunes DRM thing is a huge problem though, I find this so useful that i'll stop buying music from iTunes if that got in the way of this working. I too was looking at jHymn, but it's got no solution for iTunes 6.0
- DPowers08, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Just hope Microsoft doesn't release some kind of patch to block the functionality. Seems possible in this case because you aren't using their intended OS to stream.

http://digg.com/gaming/BETTER_solution_for_connection_you_360_toy_our_Mac - ratlhead, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Would be great to see a PC version. While the 360 can connect to my XP machine, the process of installing Windows Media Connect (which really sucks since it has to index EVERYTIME it's restarted) along with .NET framework and getting all the right settings is ridiculous. On top of that, my 360 takes about 10 minutes after being powered on to find the music/pics shared with Media Connect (it's not a networking issue... MS coulda done a much better job with this stuff.
Having this software to connect to my iTunes library would be nice...especially if it's more stable. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1hahaha brilliant! i couldn't have said it better myself
- justinfrench, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Glad to hear it works. I was hoping something like this would come out. Looks like the X-Box 360 is looking even more desirable.
- MaxSand, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1This is a tech story!! I thought digg was supposed to be nothing but politics and religion!!!
- FierceGrape, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0awesome.
- neocitron, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0i have this program as well.... wicked awesome. well worth the 10 bucks for the guy to make a living
- shadowmoses, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This a very useful piece of software and for $10 its a great buy, nullriver make amazing software anyway
- xboxing, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It works great. I purchased the license to get rid of the 100 file cap limit for each share...well worth the money. If only there were a way to stream the iTMS files though, or a new Mac solution for removing the DRM...I keep checking the JHymn site for the iT6 workaround. :(
- outlanderBZ, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0works great except for the IMS DRM. why do they make being legal hard...
- untoward, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0so... how does one stream from win2k to the 360?
- Trenton, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I'm surprised that Microsoft is actually allowing this to happen. Yeah iTunes is nice, and I use it, but it seems that Bill won't like it imo.
- holiday, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I would like to point out that:
We are talking about mac users
Who own an xbox 360
If it works?!?!
money is not the issue!!!!
DIGG! - akinder, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1"it costs money= no digg"
You use Linux don't you? - beggersfunk, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I hope they cam make a video streams from the iTune to X-Box, or just stream whatever file from Mac that would be sweet, if they do i will get X-Box right way, its not hard to get X-box 360 in Japan anyways its everywhere in here...
- energyblue, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Had it for a while. Love it.
- mydave, on 07/25/2008, -0/+0I think it will work good and cool product.

www.toyotaemployeepricing.com - mcbesq, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Media Connect works just fine. MC is free, runs fine off of my 5 year-old Dell, and does the job that it claims to do. Plus, PDZ on XBox Live with my own music streaming is just one of the reasons that Sony is going to face some stiff competition to the PS3 (any idea when it's coming out?).
- digitalpixel, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Have been playing around with Connect360 and have to say at this stage it's a really great app. Features wise, there are hopefully going to be new features bolted onto it with subsequent releases, much like the superb PSP app that nullriver produce.
Having exchanged a couple of tech support questions with Maksim Rogov (the developer) he mentioned that there are tentative plans to introduce video to connect360, although at the moment he can't make any promises, really would be a killer app then!! - Trepan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Why can't they make a piece of software that COPIES the files to the 360? I haven't used the MS solution either, but it seems like they're only set up to share, not copy. I've only been able to copy songs to my 360 from a burned audio cd, and not a data cdr filled with mp3s. Would be nice to have a piece of software to circumvent that.
- deaton, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This program works great and is worth the $10. Like someone posted earlier, I wish they would also release a PC version. Microsoft's media connect for XP BLOWS. It's a resource hog and is guaranteed to add 5 minutes to your boot time.
- Damonius, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Price has gone up to $15!
If you have a mac with all your pics and music on it, and want to use your 360 as a media "terminal," you need this. Also, this software works great with my old iBook piecer with 802.11b, so don't worry about bandwidth issues. - tjdoom, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Isn't this already possible PC-360 with the Windows Media Connect program(don't even need WMC edition, just XP) for free?
- h3adstr0ng, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1demonoid has it
- inactive, on 05/04/2008, -1/+0Yea!!!!

- briansalo, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0This is exactly what I need to complete the setup in my room... Well, that and the 360 as well...
- h3adstr0ng, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0torrent please?
- liquidrhino, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0Don't get me wrong, neocitron - I really dig this program as well as the PSP version (really great features!) and the fact that Zigzag really does great at supporting the apps, but... "well worth the $10 for the guy to make a living"?!? It's a bit more than a living he's making with that kind of income, for a couple of lines of well though out code... if 1,000 folks get a copy that 10K in his pocket, and we all know ALOT more folks would fork over the bread... Trust me, this guys makes 'a bit more' than a living off of this quick little PSP & 360 connectivity vibe... Not hating tho, it's a great niche he's got! ;)
- drakethegreat, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1Now all I need is an Xbox 360 which costs 700 dollars to preorder right now... I think I will stick with my Xbox which has a 200 GB HD and does everything the 360 does except play the crappy games that are coming out right now. Hey I can play Halo 2 on my Xbox...
- DPowers08, on 10/12/2007, -5/+0This story could have made the front page if people weren't ignorant...
- mikes, on 10/12/2007, -5/+0it costs money= no digg
it doesn't stream video= no digg
