- DaffyDuck, on 06/09/2008, -4/+193I predict iphone alley will make it through about 30 seconds of the keynote before going down.
- inactive, on 06/09/2008, -1/+99WE'LL DO IT LIVE

Oops, sorry, did I just kill some of you ad revenue? - inactive, on 06/09/2008, -2/+22That's what she said.
- backin5minutes, on 06/09/2008, -1/+19there is no way of this staying up the entire keynote.
- dpowre, on 06/09/2008, -1/+18right back at cha
- InuX, on 06/09/2008, -6/+22Buried. I don't want this going down as soon as it starts.
- Gatesophile, on 06/09/2008, -2/+16Always excited for a new Steve Jobs keynote, even though I am not too fond of Apple. Steve's like a drug, or something.
- Konrad9, on 06/09/2008, -0/+13Wow, too bad they're going to get shut down once the Apple SS Guards at the convention figure out where they are sitting.
Seriously, why is Apple unable to understand that broadcasting a live video from this thing would make people even more excited about their products? - overkilpro, on 06/09/2008, -0/+12then just go straight to the channel on the ustream website
http://www.ustream.tv/channel/wwdc-2008-live-keyno ... - TimFrost, on 06/09/2008, -1/+12Why can't it be 6 o'clock (I'm in England) now!?!?!?!?!
- ciram, on 06/09/2008, -1/+11It's down now but... here's a direct link anyway...

Edit: Back up (9:32) - OmarJasso, on 06/09/2008, -0/+9If it happens to go down, USTREAM will change the stream to a better server, they've done it in the past for video streams of MWSF08 and the special event they had back in March.
- elcaminos, on 06/09/2008, -0/+9Dude needs to stop typing on his keyboard...
- kedohmen, on 06/09/2008, -1/+10The Apple Store is down: http://store.apple.com/
Tried to submit this but digg wouldn't let me!
Hmmmm, wonder what they're updating.......... - clesch, on 06/09/2008, -0/+8If a live stream was allowed we'd probably find that on apple.com
- Chantal76, on 06/09/2008, -0/+8That site made my browser crash.
- HookmasterCH47, on 06/09/2008, -0/+7WWDC is going to break Twitter in half.
- Namco, on 06/09/2008, -0/+7Holy *****. The moon landing had better audio quality.
- OmarJasso, on 06/09/2008, -2/+8If it does go down, ustream.tv will change the stream to a better server, they've done it in the past for video streams of MWSF08 and the special event they had back in March, both thanks to iPhone Alley.
- inactive, on 06/09/2008, -2/+8Haha. I meant because the more people that see this the more chance the stream will go down.
I dugg your comment up though for making me smile :) - TGMD, on 06/09/2008, -0/+6Hey!, all cult leaders need their special costume...
- dragon76, on 06/09/2008, -0/+6It didn't even make it to the keynote. it's down already.
- inactive, on 06/09/2008, -0/+6Holy ***** my ***** ears are bleeding. Talk about pointless.
Might as well be an audio tape from one of Hitler's 1930's speeches - lateralus, on 06/09/2008, -0/+6Sounds like the transmission is coming from the moon, via AM radio.
- JBravada, on 06/09/2008, -0/+5The headline is a bit misleading, this is for live audio, not video but still good to check out while on Gizmodo/MacRumors
- Wootstapler, on 06/09/2008, -1/+6They're doing a live feed, of them, reporting on WWDC. No Steve Jobs.
- DaffyDuck, on 06/09/2008, -0/+5Doesn't matter if the page with the link to the stream is unavailable.
- ageedoy, on 06/09/2008, -0/+5Audio is better. Now if only the ***** near the mic would stop typing so much.
- FDDIcent, on 06/09/2008, -0/+5Do people need to be more excited about their products?
- SSUK, on 06/09/2008, -0/+5Because time is linear.
- christor, on 06/09/2008, -0/+5I feel very stupid. I was on this page, browsing through the posts on the irc-type thing they had (not sure if it was irc or some custom java chat app). I clicked on a link that someone says was to another feed (after this one went dead). I'm usually pretty cautious about clicking random links. Long story short - a window with goatse and audio pops up, dodging around the screen. Skype opens, tries to contact folks. iChat opens, tries to connect me with a gnaa group. Mail opens, addresses a bunch of emails to gnaa - but, thankfully, fails to send them before I pull the battery on my machine - which was the only way to get it quickly to stop.
On reboot, all appears ok, checking the logs and other places, it appears there was no permanent damage. Looks like it exploited a java bug through safari, or in safari - not sure. Sucks, because I've never encountered anything this annoying in the wild on my mac. Closes I've come to a real exploit. Upshot - don't be as stupid as I was. - traphik, on 06/09/2008, -0/+4What the hell was that? Sounded like i just got hit by a moose -or- train...
- IsaiahCisneroz, on 06/09/2008, -0/+4*clicks on twitter link*
"Twitter is over capacity. Too many tweets! Please wait a moment and try again." - Karmavs, on 06/09/2008, -1/+5how can you post mirrors of a LIVE stream?
- digitaldivinci, on 06/09/2008, -0/+4Sounds like the adults from Peanuts...
- diecastbeatdown, on 06/09/2008, -0/+4much rather watch Euro 2008, France is on.
- dagamer34, on 06/09/2008, -0/+4It truly is a shame that Apple doesn't do live keynote streams anymore. You get the choice of either reading announcements via some text on a page or waiting 4-5 hours for the stream to pop up on Apple.com. Neither is really the same as learning about it AT the same time everyone else in the world (or really the Moscone West showroom) is.
- peaking, on 06/09/2008, -0/+3browser crash alert!
- spadeninja, on 06/09/2008, -1/+4i wish this guy would stop typing
- jasarien, on 06/09/2008, -0/+3Watch the keynote live?
Watch the keynote?
Watch?
Its an audio stream, how am I meant to watch it? - haentz, on 06/09/2008, -0/+3Were these streams announced on Digg?
- sl123000, on 06/09/2008, -0/+3The quality is god-awful.
- inactive, on 06/09/2008, -0/+3Sounds like aliens have taken over WWDC. Drats.
- diggerman32, on 06/09/2008, -0/+3and....... its off air
- upenox, on 06/09/2008, -0/+3Meh, so much for having a live stream.
