Live Coverage of WWDC 2007 Keynote: AJAX, SMS Updates, and Email
macrumors.com — This year, our MacRumorsLive feed will be further improved with "continuous" text updates, larger photos, and more detailed transcriptions. The keynote begins on June 11th, 2007 at 10am PDT. The fastest way to hear about all of the announcements will be to watch MacRumorsLive. But we also offer a few other options this year...

- powerbook86, on 10/11/2007, -1/+36As always MacRumors provides a great source of up to date info live from WWDC. I can't wait! :)
- alexmuller, on 10/11/2007, -2/+22This story gets posted earlier and earlier each year - there's still 3 days to go
- Scheissenegger, on 10/11/2007, -13/+2So? The earlier I start camping before my computer screen, the better is my place! Maybe I'll be able to see something this year!
and btw, for those interested, here are some quick iPhone/digg facts, please digg if you like it: http://digg.com/apple/There_s_a_new_iPhone_story_on_digg_every_10_minutes_and_other_facts - TomPlansMedia, on 10/11/2007, -2/+54JUST BEAM IT STRAIGHT TO MY BRAIN!!
- cpbrown, on 10/11/2007, -17/+6more time to get your KY and tissues
o yes o yes o yes mr jobs - macmcrae, on 10/11/2007, -12/+3cpbrown - bwahahaha you forgot to remind the mac zealots to charge up their steve autographed iDongs too. After all what good would a wwdc be without a fully charged iDong?
- Kerr, on 10/11/2007, -3/+12I think Engadget does a better job of covering the WWDC usually...they are more detailed, have better pictures and in general faster in getting the info on their site.
- nutcase, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3god damn right, straight to my cerebellum
- MacParrot, on 10/11/2007, -2/+2cpbrown and macmcrae,
I'm sure having Steve Balmer up your ass is so much better.
You're both morons for believing that MS or Apple is the be all to end all of tech. Use whatever tech fits your needs from whatever company and STFU...idiots
- babrent, on 10/11/2007, -5/+4Thank you MacRumors!
- digunderground, on 10/11/2007, -24/+3The best source for everything mac! too bad mac doesn't have a live video feed ...
- cpbrown, on 10/11/2007, -2/+16"apple" .. the company is known as apple (for "Apple Inc.") .. not "mac"
- h0m3styl3, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1wow...cpbrown
way to suckerpunch a newb.
He was just trying to show some love.
I hope it helps you sleep better at night..you know..knowing you're better than so many other people.
- Georgy, on 10/11/2007, -5/+4im not goin thru that again, live in india and i stayed up till 2:00 am durin macworld...
- LeeVal, on 10/11/2007, -3/+3what is the IRC server and channel?
- nick2, on 10/11/2007, -4/+4Lets get this party started!
- RonAcierno, on 02/07/2008, -0/+17IM going to stick to waiting for the stream to go up... i seem to enjoy that the most
- Yarnage, on 10/11/2007, -0/+12I would do that but it always seems to take a day or so and by then, there are 500 new stories about Apple's new stuff on Digg, Slashdot and every other site I may go to. It's just not possible to avoid.
They need to have a live feed...

- finkployd, on 10/11/2007, -6/+7Why go to macrumors when so many people will take their info as soon as it comes in, throw it on their blog and post it to digg?
- cpbrown, on 10/11/2007, -1/+6macrumorslive is "live" that's why .. its so you can hear the announcements, within a minute of them being made :D
- finkployd, on 10/11/2007, -5/+7I don't think you and I share the same sense of humor.
- cpbrown, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2yeah i agree, my double irony is far more subtle than your humour
- MacParrot, on 10/11/2007, -6/+3I'm looking forward to seeing the feature complete version of 10.5. Whether or not new iMacs are released doesn't interest me, but I'm hoping for updated iLife apps. New versions of GarageBand and iWeb (iWeb in particular needs some MAJOR improvements).
- Yarnage, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5I don't think you quite get what the development conference is about. It's not about just releasing new products but about showing developers what new stuff they can now use. I doubt we'll see anything about iWeb or any iLife app unless they're unvailing a new, cool API.
They'll show the iPhone and possibly talk about how 3rd party developers can exist on it. Then they'll talk about OS X 10.5's "secret" features and then they'll close. - cpbrown, on 10/11/2007, -5/+2I don't think you quite get what the development conference is about. They'll show the iZorgon Blasters and possibly talk about how 3rd party developers can exist on it. Then they'll pull OS X out of the closet with it's dirty little secret, including implications of CA (core.anim) and a new theme - MacParrot, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Yarnage,
I thought Apple already said they would be giving out a feature complete version of 10.5. Any secrets held back from Macworld should be known by the end of the conference.
You're right though. Probably nothing about iLife or iWork will be shown or released. - meatmcguffin, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Uh...the Mac Pro was announced at last years WWDC and for some reason i get the feeling that iWork and iLife will be bundled with Leopard to get everyone to the same upgrade level.
This year's WWDC is going to be *huge*
