- cannibaljp, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4laughing at the "leo is never wrong" aspect...
i'm a fan, but he himself has pointed out MANY times how wrong he was when he said that the apple transition to intel was going to be the end of apple.
silly leo... silly, silly, silly... - IvanB, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Why don't you get an independent phone and just buy cards (5$-20$) and not be dependable on these phone companies?
- misterpony, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Where's the source where he supposedly said this? The link to "Mac Gazette" is broken on Gizmodo.
- donsmith, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Dupe?
http://digg.com/apple/Leo_Laporte_Absolutely_No_Doubt_iPhone_at_Macworld - IvanB, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I never saw Leo, so I thought that's what he actually looked like, and I got a chuckled out of it. heh
- tuartboy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Looks like Gizmodo didn't like all the ripping Leo did on them in the last macbreak. If you look closely, they knocked out one of his front teeth in that picture.
- RockMyMonkey, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I am so sick of the horrid PDA's Verizon offers, so I am very interested in the Apple phone. I just hate the idea of switching to t-mobile or Cingular. Verizon has horrid phones, but I love everything else about them. The other company's have great phones, but I hate everything else about them. I feel stuck. Apple save me!
- chesterjosiah, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Macworld 2007 is January 8-12.
- IvanB, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I wouldn't think that just because Leo said it, it makes it true. Although, I think that Apple showing off the Apple Phone at Macworld would be a good marketing move.
- charholly9, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Gizmodo, you are starting to stink since hanging out at the bottom of the barrel, you guys screwed up by playing with the Apple communities head on the iPhone. Don't get in Leo's face about telling the truth about how you screwed your integrity. Digg users are very loyal to Leo, not so loyal to Gizmodo.
- IvanB, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Quite indeed. I would of linked on MacGazette if it wasn't broken.
I tried to find it, but I can't even seem to find MacGazette. Can someone link me to the site? - cmilki, on 10/12/2007, -4/+4If the "iPhone" isn't revealed at Macworld 2007, Can we kick this guy in the balls ?
- jrking, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Agreed. Leo is notoriously wrong on any kind of tech predictions, to the point where I now tend to think "well, Leo said it, that means it probably won't happen". I think Leo is great, but I have probably heard every one of his radio shows and his TWiT podcasts over the past year and it's comical how many times he has been wrong. I do think and hope he is right about this one, but the fact that he may have made the prediction kind of worries me a little bit. ;)
- d00d, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Ahem, does anyone remember a little no advertising on TWiT prediction?
- h0zae, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1now I can listen to my NetCast....
