Last.FM Releases Highly Anticipated iPhone App Update

readwriteweb.com — Last.FM has finally released the highly anticipated update to their iPhone application. Initial App Store reviews for the debut of the Last.FM app weren't very high. The app is currently rated at three stars, compared to its competitor Pandora's five star app.

The mobilescrobbler app from installer was exactly what I wanted in a last.fm app but because of the limitations of app store apps we will never get it from there.

  • 9bpm9, on 09/29/2008, -0/+4It had low scores because for two weeks after the 2.1 update, the app died and of course people only score stuff when it's bad most of the time, so while Last.FM had a 4 1/2 to 5 star rating most of the time, because of that span where it was broken, it's rating went down.

    So buried because the writer of the article is misinformed.

  • inactive, on 09/29/2008, -0/+1The is one in Cydia called "scrobbler" that is meant to complement this app, it allows you to scrobble the songs you are playing. That is all it does, so you still need the official app.
