What he means is that the iPods will ship with the 2.1 software, but iPhone users will just have to update from 2.0.2 But both the new iPod and the update for iPhone will be released at the same time.

I DO however remember him promising 2 batteries in the phone. One that is used for the iPod section, and both can be used by the phone.

- samgab, on 08/23/2008, -1/+21They don't really want you jogging with a classic, cos it's not too friendly for the little HDD. Solid state is better for that sort of jerky movement. That's not to say you CAN'T jog with a HDD based music player, of course: many do, and I have, but it's not ideal, and it can cause damage to the HDD.

Digg is a huge site with quite a lot o tech savvy people and perfect for buzz.
And it's freakin' Kevin Rose saying it.
Don't see that Kevin + Digg are clearly a marketing instrument and perfect for generating buzz for the upcoming releases of the new iPods.

The only thing stopping me from buying an ipod touch right now is the price...So I hope that rumor is true. -
