The useful thing it does now is seamlessly integrate with your mac and is better online phonewise than anything I've seen. But it is mostly annoying for what it should have and doesn't. I bought one for my wife and it is useful for her, but I'm waiting.

Kevin just got his information from a guy with a certain type of the prototype. The guy probably got his ass fired though.

    However, why are people acting like he is a reliable source for what is on the pipeline. Yes he attends many conferences and is on the front line of technology, but honestly, who cares if he is right or not about any predictions. Many bloggers and internet sites make predictions everyday about upcoming technology and yet for some reason Gizmodo finds the need to bring up predictions and contrast them to Kevin's predictions now, even after he said not to hold him to his predictions.

Apple purposefully uses misdirection on it's employees as they know leaks will happen, however, often the leaks prove to be pretty close to the truth.
