Just so I don't look like a complete idiot. This comment actually has precedent.

- OS2Guy, on 10/22/2007, -28/+1I'm always amazed at how stupid people can be.
- cave, on 10/22/2007, -3/+16Just shut up.

- cave, on 10/21/2007, -3/+2I LOLed.
- luchid, on 10/22/2007, -1/+5I'll admit that some of those "mods" lack taste and look awful (like the matrix one... I mean... It's old already) But they're free to do whatever they want with the devices they paid for.
- cave, on 10/22/2007, -12/+3
Here's mine, just added! http://www.flickr.com/photos/55708975@N00/16634169 ...- cave, on 10/22/2007, -7/+3Um... Sorry for showing off my contribution to the page Dugg?
Screw you too.

- iNunchuk, on 10/22/2007, -6/+13More amazing is how many people are using iPhones in Canada on Rogers Network. Unbelievable.
- yeahright, on 10/26/2007, -0/+3You know, honestly i first thought the same way. Then I had a friend pick me one up while he was down in LA, and I gave it a whirl. As long as you don't touch (or really limit) your use of the Rogers EDGE data, it works out fairly well. Just wait until you get to a hotspot, and buy a small Rogers data plan to get you by otherwise ($10/mo for 10MB)
- cave, on 10/22/2007, -0/+4Exactly, my data plan has a limit of only 50mb. Solution: Disable EDGE, and only enable it manually when i *really* need it. Services.app makes this really easy to do.

My iPod is better...- redlemon, on 10/22/2007, -2/+5nope.
- kaytrio, on 10/21/2007, -7/+1The Tiger theme is friggin sweet
- techresearcher, on 10/21/2007, -11/+1Apple is being very selfish with their product. Naturally people will hack it then.
- TomPlansMedia, on 10/22/2007, -14/+3a lot of those aren't hacked...
- cave, on 10/22/2007, -3/+20You mean a lot of those use the default skin? Good luck taking a screenshot of your iPhone screen without hacking it...
- SPECOPS, on 10/22/2007, -11/+1No he means a lot of those are not hacked. And he is right. iPhone Screenshots group, doesn't equal hacked.
- jtbandes, on 10/22/2007, -0/+13Does it need to be said again? I guess so.

- machambi, on 10/21/2007, -7/+1truly amazing
- jeffgtr, on 10/22/2007, -2/+17I can't wait for Apple to allow 3rd party apps. I won't hack mine because it is my only phone (no landline) and can't take the risk. A coworker has a hacked ipod touch, he has nintendo games and even a terminal. I'm jealous.
- Beatlemaniac, on 10/22/2007, -9/+3Unimpressive. When I saw "hacked iPhones" I expected Doom with touch-screen controls.
- googeling, on 10/22/2007, -12/+0literally? how do u make a call on a hacked phone?
- specialK16, on 10/22/2007, -0/+9What?
- Speed, on 10/22/2007, -0/+4I think he means "How would you make a call on an iPhone thats hacked to bits" (taking the word hacked literally and trying to be funny).
- specialK16, on 10/22/2007, -0/+9What?
- bumblefoot, on 10/21/2007, -1/+2some of those look pretty nice, i like the panther style ones :), hopefully when apple release that developers kit next year we'll see some real innovation for the iphone because it has the potential to be a cracking phone
- specialK16, on 10/22/2007, -1/+25Coolest one:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/donpix/1571116663/in/ ...- DarkDx, on 10/26/2007, -2/+3Wow, I'd love to have that one.
- serra, on 10/21/2007, -0/+3I have it, but don't much like it. I wish that they'd make it so the stuff in the bar at the top was naturally black.
- DarkDx, on 10/26/2007, -2/+3Wow, I'd love to have that one.
- kcap122, on 10/22/2007, -9/+1why buy something that mainly holds its value and distinction on the merits of its operating system for several hundred dollars if you're just going to change it in a way that makes it less stable and arguably less sleek?
- cave, on 10/22/2007, -1/+5Because we can?
- 5hocker, on 10/22/2007, -8/+3Awesome.
don't let Apple and sheep News agencies fool you. Hacking the iPhone is your legal right and so so easy. I just wish Apple/AT&T monopoly would just come clean and stop with the threats. It is a very ugly PR disaster for Apple's Brand which used to be one of the top in the world.- JeremyBanks, on 10/22/2007, -1/+6What the ***** are you talking about?
- Zebb, on 11/11/2007, -2/+22Ha, those iphones are starting to look like a myspace page, with all the stupid icons, and themes. Don't get me wrong, some look pretty sweet, but the rest look like what someone would do to a myspace page.
- cave, on 10/22/2007, -1/+4This is what happens when common folk design. But fredom to tinker is *never* a bad thing IMO and should be protected, no matter how tasteless it is.
- bumblefoot, on 10/22/2007, -0/+2agreed, there is alot of screen shots where people have tried to put as many icons on the phone as humanly possible and it looks cluttered, but the freedom to tinker is the main thing and if they're happy with the layout thats all that matters

- teethman, on 10/22/2007, -4/+2Do the hacks work on touch, too?
- AtomB, on 10/22/2007, -2/+4Yes they do, they can be hacked to your harts content!
- dietcokedude, on 10/26/2007, -2/+3I'm pretty sure "hart" is actually spelled H-E-A-R-T. Not positive through.
- HueytheFreeman, on 10/26/2007, -0/+3I'm pretty sure you meant T-H-O-U-G-H, not "through". I'm not positive, though.
- freeWiz, on 10/26/2007, -3/+0I think you meant to say "I'm not positive though" WITHOUT the COMMA!
- TheSolomon, on 10/26/2007, -0/+3freeWiz- You need to study your grammar. His use of the comma was correct. It would be similar to saying: "I'm not positive, although I am fairly confident it's true." Remove the comma to make it two sentences: "I'm not positive. I am fairly confident it's true."

- MaverickC17, on 10/22/2007, -6/+1Please, someone make an easy one step process to role back to 1.0.2. Please!
- xerexes1, on 10/21/2007, -4/+1I think I'm in love.
- xkilleddestinyx, on 10/22/2007, -2/+2I was SO right one of em was on Rogers I need to find me an iPhone now
- ahhyeah, on 10/21/2007, -2/+1Yes, the hacks work on iPod Touch also. To jail break iPod touch and automatically install Installer.app & SummerBoard visit appleiphoneschool.com/modhack for instructions
- DarkDx, on 10/22/2007, -4/+1PLease, Anybody having a link to the easiest unlocking process, compatible with 1.1.1 and compatible with those themes seen in these screenshots.

how do you even know which app your pressing?- cave, on 10/21/2007, -0/+1The icons seem pretty straightforward to me, aside from Youtube and Settings.
- HueytheFreeman, on 10/21/2007, -0/+1That bubbling cauldron SMS icon looks like I'd be pressing the "SMS" application.
- mathegax, on 10/22/2007, -3/+0where do i get some of these
- ahhyeah, on 10/21/2007, -1/+0jailbreak your iphone, when doing so Installer.app is installed which alows for installations of 3rd party apps and themes.
- mathegax, on 10/26/2007, -2/+1ive already done tat but where do i get themes like the mario party one
- ahhyeah, on 10/26/2007, -0/+1You need to add other sources to Installer.app. Go to modmyiphone.com and search for Loring Studios. The file is in his signature.

- nape, on 10/22/2007, -2/+8do you guys see why apple wont open it up now?? 90% of these look horrible!
- TheSolomon, on 10/22/2007, -0/+2Well, I'd rather Apple not be the "taste and style" police. Instead, I'd like them to open it up, but give us so many wonderful Apple-created options that I'd never want to ugly it up with my own designs... and my designs would in fact be *very* ugly.
- MrBarcode, on 10/22/2007, -3/+1Just get an OpenMoko phone.
- TheSolomon, on 10/23/2007, -1/+1No thanks. I'd rather fight to open a closed device from a known manufacturer of beautiful, solid, and reliable products, than go with an open device from an unknown and untrustworthy source that looks like a bloated, sub-par knock-off at best.
- keegan3d, on 10/22/2007, -1/+2Now I know what Apple doesn't want to open up the phone...
http://www.flickr.com/photo_zoom.gne?id=1677708820 ...- TheSolomon, on 10/22/2007, -0/+1Looks like someone bricked that phone's baseband, or is using it without phone service. Sad in either case; they should have stayed away from 1.1.1 (I know from personal experience) in the first case, or waited for the iPod Touch in the second case. Not making the device look like cyan vomit is another idea. :-)
- ahhyeah, on 10/23/2007, -0/+0Actually this is my wife's phone. It is on 1.0.1 and never been updated. It is fake activated untill we can afford to cancel her Sprint account. ($200 cancelation fee) We actually installed all the themes just to show them all on flickr. We're the admins of this screenshot group on flickr. And my wife agrees, this theme is ugly :) LOL!

- Atomic1fire, on 10/22/2007, -0/+1its amazing to see how many people are hacking the iphone but
I wonder what happens to the iphone webapps when apple adds third party support
some people still may use them such as to save space
but I dont think they will be as popular
which could effect the use of them aslittleknown firefox sidebar apps- seinfeldking, on 10/27/2007, -2/+0Your thoughts resemble those of a homosexual.
- TheSolomon, on 10/26/2007, -0/+2Wow. Totally unexpected gay bashing. Homophobia is frequently an indication of suppressed desires towards those of the same sex. You may want to seek counseling; a wonderful new world of opportunity awaits your sexual rediscovery.
Consequently, jack ass, I'm blocking you. ;-)

- amyjones09, on 10/22/2007, -0/+0third party apps will be released soon from apple i heard
- ahhyeah, on 10/22/2007, -0/+0Apple's website says it will be released in Feb. http://www.apple.com/hotnews/
- TheSolomon, on 10/22/2007, -0/+1February is not exactly "soon" in my book, but yes, third party apps will eventually be supported.
- techneo, on 10/22/2007, -0/+2dugg for hacked
- DarkDx, on 10/22/2007, -0/+1I got an idea, make all the icons black with no text, memorize where each app is, and ***** other people when they ask to see the phone.
- pdrier, on 10/26/2007, -0/+1i always like to see people tweaking the gui like that
