- NoOneButMe, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Thats the complicated way.
1. convert to .iso in UltraISO 7.6.x
2. burn with whatever program you desire - NoOneButMe, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1(also it doesnt matter what size the .dmg is)
(and you can mount the .iso if you want to .. Digg needs an edit button :/ - MellerTime, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0When converting straight from .dmg to .iso with UltraISO, I ran into several different problems. One time it said the .dmg was an unrecognized file format, another I seem to recall it died randomly. As soon as I mounted the same .dmg with MacDrive installed, UltraISO was able to re-rip it from the virtual drive with no problems.
And no, it doesn't matter what size the .dmg is. In my testing I was able to convert about 10 different images of varying sizes. One was even DVD-sized. I could have mounted the .iso once it was converted, but since I needed to burn a bootable Mac CD / DVD in this instance, that wouldn't really help me... :)
