I'm pretty sure that some developers are working on their apps right now. Summerboard and Customize are apps that you're not going to get on the app store anytime soon.

You can get the files that this Windows (XP & Vista) walkthrough talks about on the Internet. The best place we found them were on torrent sites. Basically, go through the process, get an ipsw from a mac, put it on your PC and shift-restore with that.

Don't bother. I did this yesterday, and am now getting ready to roll back to 1.1.4. The reason? All the apps that were part of my love of the iPhone.. GONE.. now I can by the flashlight application for $5.. BS.
