- EmileVictor, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0And it's both shrunk and grown since then. I remember apple laptops being huge once. :D
http://digg.mediahug.com/ - Psykus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0lol, I actually found one of these macintosh portables at work one day. it was my duty to go through all the old computer crap they had stored up and throw away whatever stuff that couldn't be used anymore.
the thing was extraordinarly heavy. it was basically a desktop computer with a screen mounted on it, and it had a handle on it, if for whatever reason you wanted to try to lug it around. i tried to plug it in and power it on, but it wouldn't come up at all. it eventually was trashed, I wonder if I could of gotten a good deal for it on ebay. - MacTechSteve, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Good find!
- duck_oil, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I own a Macintosh Portable and it's a great computer. No need for these newfangled PowerBooks. ;)
- MikeZ, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Cool my powerbook g4 (1.25GhZ) is cool this was very interesting I'll digg this my friend
- ednopantz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0hah! I had a 5300. Total crap. didn't stand behind it despite an extended warranty. Last Apple I bought. Dell sucks, but if you buy the fancy warranty, they honor it.
- FatController, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Nice article.
- Matrixsjd, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0johnxstone, the powerbook came before the ibook lol
- johnxstone, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0How was the PowerBook born? Easy, a sub zero refrigerator raped an iBook.
- c0dek, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0ultra bonus negative points for using an Adam Sandler movie quote to critique someone's grammar, especially for messing up said quote.
- okto, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Sentences. They really aren't that hard to write, you just need a period at the end of every thought.
Maybe you don't know where one thought ends and the other begins. Who knows? Still and all, I'm sure you've attended school at least up to the fifth grade and prior to that had been speaking the language for many years, so you have no excuse.
You are awarded no points, and my God have mercy on your soul.
