- nstanosheck, on 10/12/2007, -4/+12Google.com/Linux still has that look at http://www.Google.com/linux I wonder if they will be getting an update soon as well?
- caldroun, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Title does not say it all if you have to add more to your Description!
- pminze, on 10/12/2007, -5/+11None of this this new, just all put on one page.
- pred8tr, on 10/12/2007, -2/+8I am quite impressed with what they did with /mac. I hope they update the /linux next. I'm starting to feel like we're getting slighted here. Problem is I don't think they have done nearly as much linux developement (tools and software) as they have mac developement. Am I wrong?
- xoineg, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7isn't picasa just iPhoto but for windows? looks so similar....there are a few features in each that they both can use...
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6All I want is for people to use the convenient little "CHECK SPELLING" button that digg provides before they post.
- Universal, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6Than it is war! ;-)
My Mac mini shall conquer yours!

|______________________________________| /__/ - rosswinn, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3there won't be a picasa for mac so much as a picasa plugin for iphoto, and there won't be a google talk for mac, because support is already built in to ichat.
- tvc15, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Aaah, turns out it doesn't accept passwords that contain non-alphanumeric
http://groups-beta.google.com/group/macwidgets/browse_thread/thread/1287b62eba93487 - winstonpr, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4I Agree. I really would love to have it too.
- Vindstille, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Yes, i agree.
The say they don't make valited html because they say it will save bandwidth, but I don't think that is a good enought reason to not do it. - PotatoSalad, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4@Jeffrey903: I didn't get any results from your search link. http://72.14.209.104/search?hl=en&lr=&q=cache%3Ahttp%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com%2Fmac&btnG=Search works, though.

me you - Vindstille, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2But Google Talk has a realy nice interface, and it doesn't have all that crap you don't need. The only things it miss is the webcam and MSN Msg support.
- benlundquist, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1With that logo it looks like they are trying to fit in with the Aqua Interface Guidelines. or something lol
- Vindstille, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I don't understand why people are using Google Toolbar. The only thing you need is the search box and that is included in the browser already.
- compboy1, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3Anyone notice the new-ish logo in the top left? Is this normal for the mac page? Perhaps a foreshadow of new things to come?
...Or maybe I just need to stop reading digg in class, and actually pay attention... - vprice509, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1My comment says it all.
- andrewa, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2What about Google Talk..........?
- rspeed, on 10/12/2007, -4/+4A new page, but still no doctype. I'd really love to have a word with some of Google's web developers.
- bleonard, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2The google homepage To Do list widget is still broke in Safari
- Universal, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1The other part of the description is just a note that Google added a Mac blog. I thought it was relevent enough to add it, too.
- KMartSheriff, on 10/12/2007, -7/+5STILL no Picasa for Mac =(
- jav1231, on 10/12/2007, -5/+2EGADS! Google Toolbar for MAC!? "Google Toolbar: Think of it as Google Gator!"
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -6/+2@predt8r
Not really. If you look at the products they provide for Mac, you'll see the following:
For Mac, there is the "Picasa Web Uploader". For Linux, there is the whole "Picasa for Linux"
There's Google Earth and Google Toolbar for both platforms.
The only things that are missing completely on Linux are the Google Notifier and the Google Widgets for Dashboard. The latter doesn't make sense on Linux anyway (as there is no Dashboard there).
So the only thing missing on Linux is Google Notifier, whereas the only thing missing on Mac is Picasa.
So in the end, there are more sophisticated applications for Linux than for Mac. :)
But they should invest more in both platforms, of course. There's no Google Talk (yet) for both platforms, and others. - nashife, on 10/12/2007, -5/+0because iphoto costs money?
- bpapa, on 10/12/2007, -6/+1woah, a new landing page!
now usually i digg down/mock people who bitch about what makes the front page, and i love macs and google, but come on, this is not interesting. - PAJK, on 10/12/2007, -19/+13Now all Google has to do is buy Apple, or the other way around, and M$ is seriously *****.
- jer2eydevil88, on 10/12/2007, -11/+4Would you have liked to have a description for an article entertain you by dancing on a table? Seriously? The description is utterly pointless when its a layout update or upgrade.
- cdharrison, on 10/12/2007, -17/+10About. Frickin. Time. Seriously.
- tvc15, on 10/12/2007, -9/+1Grrrrr, tried the GMail widget and it won't log me in. Authentication problem. After 3 tries it redirected me to a browser login and it worked there. Logged back out to try the widget again and the same userid/password again did not authenticate. Anyone else have this problem? Anyone else get it to work?
- Schug, on 10/12/2007, -11/+2How do I get that shiny Google logo as my search logo?
- MediaShipper, on 10/12/2007, -12/+2*****
- titlesaysitall, on 10/12/2007, -16/+6@Universal,
You have committed copyright infringement, using my name in your description. This is very very serious, you just don't go around using copyrighted stuff man! Anywho, you will have your computer(Mac Mini) confiscated, a swarm of beetles will attack your house and a bum will break in to your house eating all your food. You'll hear from my lawyers in the coming days - kudos, on 10/12/2007, -20/+10I'm sick of this 'title says it all' *****, give me a proper introduction please.
- AlanHolcome, on 10/12/2007, -13/+0Scrubbed content?
All I heard about is the anti-muslim videos being removed. Well... that's bad enough, but has anything else been removed? - CBTF, on 10/12/2007, -18/+5Oh here's your intro. Mac and google in the same story= digg fanboy dream. Of course, this news matters to a very small portion of people..
