- Fluvant, on 02/27/2009, -3/+29That's almost as cool as infrared dueling POKEMON on Gameboy COLOR
- inactive, on 07/10/2008, -1/+14I'll add my contacts, stirred not shaken
- inactive, on 07/10/2008, -0/+52 problems - if you are drunk she is not interested, and if she is then she's not hot.
- Callidus, on 07/10/2008, -1/+6That's what she said.
- louiemantia, on 07/10/2008, -0/+4Awesome! :D
- omnivector, on 07/10/2008, -0/+3Come say hi sometime :P
- aabernathy, on 07/10/2008, -2/+4Shaken iPhone Syndrome?
- fazik93, on 07/10/2008, -3/+5Wow that's pretty intuitive. Definitely something I would be interested in playing with.
- igyigyigy, on 07/10/2008, -0/+2iFap
- ApplCmptrDood, on 07/10/2008, -2/+4Whoa, I passed by their offices earlier today in Palo Alto. Small world.
- Drizzit, on 07/10/2008, -0/+2Nice way to invade people's privacy. You just do not share other's contact info on a whim.
Now I'll have to use DRM on my vcard... - billbugger, on 07/10/2008, -0/+2Sweet, so thats how i can get that girls number on the dance floor!
Let the Restraining orders roll in baby! Woot! - inactive, on 07/10/2008, -2/+4swapping numbers with that hottie at the bar while your drunk just got easier
- booman32, on 07/10/2008, -0/+2"No baby - I was just dancing near that girl. I didn't ask her for her digits!"
- inactive, on 07/10/2008, -0/+1FAIL
- Electricpigdigg, on 07/14/2008, -0/+1Quite a neat feature, that's what social networking is all about!
- billbugger, on 07/10/2008, -0/+1It doesn't use bluetooth.
- dragon76, on 07/10/2008, -0/+1You have something against gay people?
- viruz, on 07/10/2008, -1/+2make sure you grip really hard.
.. ok, this sounds very very gay(and I know gay), 2 guys shaking their phones at each other? - louiemantia, on 07/10/2008, -1/+2It does not use location or Bonjour. We send the accelerometer data to our servers and if two match the contact cards are exchanged.
- infamousjre, on 07/10/2008, -0/+1now I just have to spend my whole life finding one other person as geeky as me who buys this app. then i can shake my phone at them once. totally worth whatever they're charging
- WiZZLa, on 07/10/2008, -1/+1Face dailer, I'm sure no one has written an app like that before for any of the other mobile OSes...
- PereGoriot1, on 02/22/2009, -0/+0I wonder if iPhones have speakers so can you listen to free classical music mp3s: http://www.freeclassicalmusic.net
- cassarani, on 07/10/2008, -2/+2GPS.
- locojones, on 07/10/2008, -1/+1Sorry, the advertisement mentioned it works for the Touch too, which doesn't have a GPS. So please try again.
- billbugger, on 07/10/2008, -1/+1RTF before commenting.
- locojones, on 07/10/2008, -1/+1So if you don't use location, how do you tell the phones are in proximity? In that case, how do you keep a phone shaken deliberately from exchanging contact info with a phone shaking in someone's pocket nearby as they are walking, or across the country in Iowa if it happens to be shaking at the same exact time? It just doesn't make any sense, and as Judge Judy says, if it doesn't make sense, it just isn't true.
- cmykdesigns, on 07/10/2008, -2/+1I call bonjour over wifi... Just a thought...
- b3and1p, on 07/10/2008, -2/+1why would you want a face dialer? It would be faster just to click on their name in the contact list you already have.
- salter84, on 07/10/2008, -6/+5Looks like the accelerometer is making quite the impact on the 2 devices (touch/phone)
I hope more apps come out that take advantage of this feature :)
- ryjohn, on 07/10/2008, -2/+1...shake it three times, it's playing with yourself.
- jo21, on 07/10/2008, -5/+2....
i knew this was going to happen
you can share contacts via bluetooth with any bluetooth powered phone
add a gimmick like shaking bangggggggggggg the iphone innovation.
buried as LAME - newstart, on 07/10/2008, -5/+1HeHe.... giggles @ shaking
- claynferno, on 07/10/2008, -5/+0HAHA I love it! Looks like shaking the iPhones for usability is going to be used in a lot of Apps in the App Store.
- waydee, on 07/10/2008, -7/+2Buried as iphonespam.
- locojones, on 07/10/2008, -7/+1I'm sorry, but the capability of this software doesn't make one ounce of logical sense. The accelerometer of the iPhone doesn't communicate with other accelerometers. And since the iPhone doesn't have Bluetooth transfer or infrared communications, they are simply isolated little islands in the cellphone world. So how the hell does some Tapulous server a thousand miles away know the proximity or location of any two iPhones in order to register the contact transfer? I call *****.
- anandpopat, on 07/10/2008, -12/+0AMAZING!!!!! hahahaha, idk if its me, but something like this has no place on digg. pretty dumb stuff. Dialing with a picture doesnt seem that innovative to me, if this is free though, maybe pretty cool
