flickr.com — This is what happens when you double screen share in leopard. These are two separate macs and we actually had some functionality in the screen sharing.

  • clak, on 11/25/2007, -32/+17At first I didn't get this, but now I see that one of you guys initiated a screen share in iChat and then the other guy initiated a screen share without ending the first and it produced the sort of effect you get when you put a mirror in front of another mirror. Pretty cool. I might try that the next time I screen share with someone.

What do you think you achieve by commenting on a story you don't like and saying digg is turning crap, are you helping digg? I know you submit stuff, and yes it seems like "useful" tech news but you're comment doesn't help anyone and that's what I was pointing out.

It's exactly the same thing - screen sharing IS VNC, just as the remote desktop settings under the Sharing preference pane is (well, I'm not sure if it was identical, but any VNC client I tried could connect in so it must have been close enough).

      The only thing about it I can say is that it makes a half-decent way to test your new networking equipment :D
