1. It crashes the iPhone upon launch very often. Seems to load fine after the reboot though, oddly.
2. Not as many functions as the web app iPhone/iPod version.

You have zero basis for making any guesses AND you don't know how they're calculating users. You don't know whether they're measuring hits coming from 1 million unique iPhones or iPhone users accessing Facebook from 1 million different accounts. Even if it turns out to be the latter, all you can possibly say is that the real number is likely lower. Throwing out a figure of 500,000 is based on nothing concrete. It's just pulled out of the air. At least they have online stats that they're measuring, even if we don't know the precise metric they're using.

- rockinrimmer, on 07/26/2008, -2/+6I don't like the app version at all, I find that its ugly and not as easy to use and not as many functions as the webapp. Yes i have tried the 1.1 versions and that still doesn't cut it. The only reason i can see for using the app is the facebook chat which could be useful

- bradleyland, on 07/28/2008, -0/+2I despise MySpace, but their app is actually a lot better than Facebook's. You can see a lot more information about your friends, and its less buggy. I regularly find that friends from my profile don't show up in my Facebook mobile app.

I know this because every time that any of my friends use my phone for facebook they get a message on their facebook saying "I have installed the facebook app! YAY!!!!!!!!11!"
