macspecialist.org — Mac Specialist has updated their list of essential Mac OS X software. The list isn't exhaustive but it definitely has some good stuff and it looks like they are adding popular recommendations to the list.

    Yeah, us Mac developers are all starving... Delicious Monster for example "only" made $60,000 on their first day of business, with no advertising. Panic's Audion (according to their website) was one of the best selling pieces of software in Japan, ever. Mac developing pays, and it's a better life.

  • sp4rky, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0it's not so much the list for me its the fact that they are taking recommendations for the apps and that they are bringing this site back to life. The site use to be for sell, looks like it has been sold and under new managment, which is good news all around.

    Yeah, I like recorder.xhead with is a voice recorder and player and also info.xhead which is a personal database to store passwords and other data securely.

  • frem001, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0BluePhoneElite is a cool app i use quite a lot for sending text messages through my mobile phone (easier to type it out than use the keypad) it also has some useful proximity behaviours, even more usefull if you have a bluetooth headset.
