- Logik, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0mine popped right open.. get a very small screwdriver. like something you'd use to fix glasses or something that small.. might have to pry a little bit, just be careful.
- djtripp, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Great site, I found the part I needed, and fixed it with their instructions. It was the one part that required you to remover almost everything around it.
- Jeffrey903, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Does anyone have any suggestions for removing the screws for the RAM compartment on the 15" Powerbook (Al)? I purchased the 1GB stick of RAM that NewEgg had, and I can not get my ram compartment open. It's really, really tight, and I don't want to try too hard and end up scratching or damaging my laptop. Does anyone have any suggestions?
- kry10, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Their guide for the 15" PowerBook was a godsend when I was upgrading my hard drive. However, I should have followed their directions more closely, so I wouldn't have dented the front of my case :)

- Rndm_Tngnt, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Now I wonder if they can tell me how I would repair the hinges on my 17" ever since the "Mystery of the Staggeringly Drunk Roommated and the Flying Chair" back over spring break warped them and keeps my laptop from closing.
- mentat, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Damn, where was this when I needed it? I recently had to replace the hard disk in my iBook (Apple wanted $300 to replace it with another 30 GB disk, so I got a 60 GB disk for $156 (plus tax and protection plan) and put it in myself the next night) and I ended up hunting down an Apple Service Manual which didn't seem nearly as nice as this does.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0those screws are pretty stubborn... and easy to strip too. be careful not to strip them. press down hard with the right size screwdriver and they should loosen with some careful might.
- castufari, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Get an eyeclass repair kit, one of those screwdrivers should work. Put some tape around the end of it if you're worried about scratching the case.
